Aladdin Black is the 3rd member of our Aladdin Bold Font Family. This new style is extra bold and slightly rounded on the outsides of the glyphs. It is fat, fancy, fearless, forward, devilish, heavy, and stylized. Aladdin Bold was my first font introduced in 2012. I've always felt there were possibilities of adding styles to this family and something triggered the decision, so...here it is. I took much time deliberating over many of the finer details in this version of Aladdin and I hope the 'devil is in the details' for whoever decides to try on Aladdin Black.

Berling Nova Sans Pro is the companion famous Berling Nova type family. Crillee is a family of our styles that was originally produced by Letraset. In 1980, Dick Jones designed Crillee Italic. Jones also designed the family's second style, Crillee Extra Bold Italic, in 1981. Peter O'Donnell designed Crillee Bold Italic in 1986. The fourth style, Crillee Italic Inline Shadow, was completed by Vince Whitlock. At the time of Crillee's development, Jones, O'Donnell, and Whitlock were all employees of the Letraset Type Studio. Crillee's slight lean to the right and geometric forms create a feeling of power and speed. Crillee should be spaced closely in word settings and is perfect for anything which should have a cool, modern appearance.

Neue Schwabacher is a revival of a revival. Albert Anklam modified the medieval letter forms of Schwabacher according to the fashion of the fin-de-siècle era, and his font was first released by Genzsch & Heyse in 1876. This most widespread font face of the 19th century was fresh redrawn and made fit for nowadays’ usage. To get access to all ligatures, it is recommended to activate both Standard and Discretionary ligatures.

The 1960 revised edition of Sam Welo’s “Studio Handbook – Letter and Design for Artists and Advertisers” showcases the many interesting lettering designs Welo hand lettered for his book. One such example is an extra-bold serif typeface which is now available as Law Office JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions. --------------
