Starts from the study of the great Futurist adventure of the early 1900s by great artists such as DEPERO and MARINETTI, who twisted the world of typography with shapes and colors. Italian Fushion is made up of almost 2,000 glyphs for each weight and in addition to hundreds of alternatives mainly, such as initials and endings of each word but also different alternatives for the letters I, J, Y. I’m happy to present you the Bohemian initials font family. Regular and Colored styles (Uppercase & Numbers) based on Codex Gigas originated in medieval Bohemia. The manuscript has been dated 1230. The elaborate initials are at the beginning of the main texts and their principal divisions. The painter was aiming to achieve a plastic depiction of the trailing vines of the initials, and he painted with solid colours. He used only four of the primary colours cinnabar red, blue, green and yellow, brightly toned, as well as white accents and contours. The trailing vines of the initial letters are painted in a decorative, advanced Romanesque style, already bordering on naturalism. The plant taken as the starting point is the acanthus, a thistle-like plant which grows wild in the Mediterranean countries. The decoration of the Devil’s Bible is not the work of an amateur. A condensed loose brush style. This font has a breezy elegance and casual sophistication, yet in a different context or color, it could be seen as nervous and urban. A weird dichotomy. Set in smallish text blocks, it has a surprisingly even color. This is due to a balace that has been struck between keeping the roughness and idiosyncracies of a hand-drawn face but ensuring an overall regularity.

Harajuku Script is an ‘easy-on-the-eye’ script font. I made it with a Japanese brush pen. The font is quite stylish, so I named it after Tokyo’s Harajuku area, which is known internationally as a center of Japanese youth culture and fashion. Harajuku Script would look good anywhere, but product packaging, websites and magazines could profit from this handwritten gem.
