"Berganza" is a typeface designed as a tribute to the spanish century called "Siglo de Oro". Although the Siglo de Oro cannot be set in specific dates, it is generally considered to have lasted more than a century; between 1492, the year of the discovery of America and 1681, the year in which the writer Pedro Calderón dela Barca died.
