GoGipsy is a script font based on Coto Mendoza's modern calligraphy works created with the technical assistance of Luciano Vergara. GoGipsy is inspired by a magical journey—full of love, art and nature—through the Mexican Caribbean. GoGipsy tries to capture such incredible blend through gestures and calligraphy strokes, conveying freedom, expressiveness, strength and spontaneity. As a graphic designer, sometimes it’s impossible not to be inspired by the Swiss Style, specifically the work of Armin Hofmann, who is one of its best exponents. Grids and grotesk and neo-grotesk typefaces are a fundamental part of the tools that make this aesthetic possible. A visual language that has caused full admiration since we were students. Therefore, we decided to design Armin as an homage to Hofmann’s work. Technically, we added stylistic sets applied to the letters –G, R, a, g, h, l, m, n, r, t, u, y– to make Armin more eclectic and suitable for the creation of any visual language. Armin Soft is the softest version of Armin Grotesk with its Variable file.

The BD Micron Font is the first typedifferent variable font. It is a very technical looking typeface great for use in sci-fi, science and electronic music related projects. The BD Micron Font alphabet designed together with H1reber was initially created as the display typeface for the communication and visual identity of the TechnoCulture 2 festival in Fribourg, Switzerland summer 2019. The technologic yet playful looking font shall break boundaries between technology, science, fiction and art. Creating characters, hence little robots out of the shapes found in the BD Micron Font glyphs and the variable font technology helped breathing live into the BD Micron Robots which is also availabe here at MyFonts

Lalo Grotesk is made up of five weights, their slant versions and a two axis (weight and slant) Variable font. Lalo Grotesk is a grotesque typeface with characterful lowercase letters that are highly legible in large body texts, while the uppercase letters are wider to give a sense of speed in big size headlines. The Potato font was made using a technique everyone probably knows from childhood - the letters were cut out from a potato which was used as a stamp. It was designed for my cook book.
