Manometer is a pneumatic ultra-black slab serif typeface with soft corners and fine counters.

BearAnark is a decorative slab-serifed typeface that can be used for some text purposes. It has moderate contrast and comes in five weights, each with a true italic. The development of the family began with a blending of two other slab-serif faces, Anarckhie and BearButteT, and this origin is reflected in its name.

Presenting… a Western style alphabet from the 1960 edition of Samuel Welo’s “Studio Handbook for Artists and Advertisers”… Extra bold, featuring slab serifs and concave corners, this type style could easily have been found on building signage in the Old West… but in redrawing it digitally, it’s been named Modern West JNL because at one time, this would have been considered a modern style of lettering. Modern West JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Wacca straddles the categories of Humanist slab and Contemporary serif, and it also gives a handwriting taste especially in the italics. Its tall x-height enables them to be extremely visible, and the slightly curved strokes on some letters give them a pleasant and organic look as a whole. Belle Jardin is an Art Deco inspired display family of three typefaces, offered in in-line engraved regular and demi bold forms as well as a solid bold form. “I Don't like No Cheap Man” is a piece of early 1900s sheet music featuring its title hand lettered in a condensed slab serif design. The influences of the Art Nouveau era are clearly found in the many eccentric character shapes within the various letters of the original artwork. Recreated in digital type, Tightwad JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions – and its font name is a variant of the “Cheap Man” portion of the song’s title.

Cary Grant was one of Hollywood’s most versatile actors, playing romantic leads, dramatic parts and showing off his impeccable timing in screwball comedies. A perfect example of this is Frank Capra’s “Arsenic and Old Lace” from 1942. The movie trailer for the film had the title hand lettered in a playful and casual slab serif style, with varying character shapes and weights. This is now available as Screwball Comedy JNL in both regular and oblique versions.

RealFat is a typeface that has been started with the intention to create a very squared bold font with a futuristic look and feel. HU SpecialmovieKR is a retro, wide square typeface, characterized by streamlined, narrow stroke ends such as 'ㄴ,ㅅ,ㅈ'. Designed by Arthur Baker in 1994 for URW, Kigali is a wide-bodied display type with bold, uneven, pen-drawn strokes that taper dramatically downward. This unusual theme creates a unique, recognizable look. Furthering the effect, the Kigali typeface family contains additional decorative design fonts, one with a zigzag pattern filling the spacious strokes, and another with the letters in black squares for use as ornamental initials. The regular and italic versions include two alternate faces: one with long, tall ascenders and regular-length descenders, and one with shortened ascenders and descenders that allow it to fit where its companion might not. Churchward 69 is a ten weight typeface family originally designed during the late 1960’s by the late type designer Joseph Churchward. From the extremely condensed Regular weight to the outlandishly heavy Ultra Black, this square sans serif makes an audacious statement. Even the Italics are extreme at their 17 degree angle! Churchward 69 includes 5 weights, Regular, Bold, Extra Bold, Black, and the gorgeous Ultra Black, and their italics. Joseph sure knew how to draw heavy weights! All members of the Churchward 69 family have OpenType features, including proportional and tabular figures, unlimited fractions, superior and inferior figures, and ordinals. Each font also has an extensive character set to support many western European languages.

This square and elegant typeface has unique round stems that makes the geometric look of Tmura MF work well in any point size.

The purpose of this monospace font is to display braille in an original although rather steganographic way. Its glyphs are built from a flat hexagon which can be read as 3 rows of 2 vertices (i.e. regular braille glyph grid). The initial design is illustrated by glyphs 'ç' (no dot) and 'û' (6 dots) as shown by poster 5. Glyphs are connected to each other, thus 6 connections for each hexagon (2 on left/right and 4 on top/bottom). In the final design many diagonal segments of the hexagon were removed for esthetical reason. Text is displayed not as a honeycomb but as a lattice instead which mixes hexagons, squares and "irregular convex octagons" (mostly unclosed), the design favored squares over octagons. The whole slightly resembling a PCB. Text can be framed with 3 sets of Frame glyphs (as shown in Poster 4): Octagonal: { €, °, £, µ, §, ¥, ~, ¢ } which can be mixed with Rectangular High Rectangular Low: { è, é, ê, ï, î, à, â, ä } Rectangular High: { Â, ù, Ä, Ê, Ë, ô, õ, ë } which can be mixed with Octagonal NB: When using Frame glyphs, it is advised to show Pilcrow (¶) and Non Breaking Space, which are replaced by empty shapes (e.g. in Microsoft Word, use CTRL+8 or use [¶] button in the ribbon).

Sybilla is a robust, but friendly, humanist slab serif well suitable for broad range of design projects. Century Gothic™ is based on Monotype 20th Century, which was drawn by Sol Hess between 1936 and 1947. In its heyday, the Starlight Room of the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City quite frequently printed lunch and dinner menus for not only their rotating bill of fare, but also for special events held there. The 1937 Electrolux (Eastern) Appreciation Banquet has its own menu cover, and the lettering was in a simple, yet Art-Deco influenced condensed block design with squared features. This simple and quirky typeface has been digitally redrawn as Sales Convention JNL, and is available in both regular and oblique versions.
