Organika is a hand drawn type family of six fonts. It includes upright and italic brush script, sans and serif fonts. Because of the uneven edges, loose forms and bouncing letters Organika has an organic, friendly and casual feeling. The script has lots of alternates that gives you possibility to build your text almost like handwriting with all the charming imperfections and variations that a real handwriting has. If you enable Discretionary Ligatures OpenType feature (dlig) it replaces automatically lower case letters with an alternate when the letter is repeated. So there are never two letters next to each other that are just the same. The script also has a few neat underlines to choose from to give your design the final touch. Unique and decorative signage for many drive-ins, motels, food stores and other businesses of the 1940s had what was referred to as “privilege signs” provided by one of the major cola brands. Consisting of the brand’s emblem on a decorative panel, the remainder of the sign would carry the desired message of the storekeeper (such as “Drive-In”) in prismatic, embossed metal letters. Inspired by the Art Deco sans serif style of those vintage signs, Privilege Sign Two JNL recreates the type design in both regular and oblique versions. Tallahassee Chassis JNL was modeled from a toy alphabet rubber stamp set made in Japan and imported to the U.S. during the late 1950s and early 1960s. The lettering style somewhat resembled that found on the side of old railroad cars, buses or trolleys.

Wall Sign JNL is a sign painter's chamfered sanserif found in an instructional manual from 1905. A popular lettering style of the day, it features an abridged vertical on the G, a flattened right side on the Q and a truncated horizontal on the 3.
