M Hei Sung PRC is a monolinear style Simplified Chinese typeface. Monolinear font designs have little or no thick-thin contrast in the strokes, and modest design characteristics at entry, finial and transitional points of the strokes. P22 Mackinac Pro spans four centuries of type design, bridging the Old World with the New. This family of four weights and corresponding italics is of old style construction, with a diagonal weight stress. Contrast between thick & thin is modest and proportioned the same for all fonts. The tall x-height recommends itself to a wide variety of text and display uses; including advertising, publishing, signage and packaging. P22 Mackinac Pro (pronounced Mackinaw) is a general-purpose, utilitarian design incorporating an abundance of OpenType features: small caps, ligatures, ordinals, numerous figure options plus a few bonus goodies. Mackinac supports 56 languages using extended Latin character sets.

Candida roman was designed by Jakob Erbar and appeared after his death with the typeface foundry Ludwig & Mayer in Frankfurt am Main in 1936. Due to the original designer’s death, the italic was designed by Walter Höhnisch shortly thereafter. In 1945 the roman was reworked, the breadth of the figures was reduced and the strokes made heavier. The bold weight followed in 1951. Later the typeface was expanded with further weights, which have for the most part fallen out of use. Three weights can still be found in catalogues, available as early as 1937 for the Linotype machine. Candida is a modest text font which retains its legibility even in smaller point sizes.

The type family includes two decorative designs that combine features of an italic typefaces and calligraphy. The elegant swashes and curls in upper case letters make the fonts rich and showy. Emploi Ingenue has rather developed decorative elements, and Emploi Travesti is more modest. Both fonts are intended for titles, display typography, especially advertising and for initials.
