A font from outer space, CA Weird Stories - the perfect font for science fiction novels or to create a spooky atmosphere. A bit too weird and a bit too slanted for this world. The alcoholic beverage Gin is drunk around the world, as far back as the 13th century. Originally distilled as a medicine, it draws its main flavour from juniper berries. Gin is colourless itself but – due to its smooth taste – a major ingredient in a long list of famous colourful cocktails. Gimlet, Singapore Sling, Negroni, Charlie Chaplin, French 75, Vesper, Tom Collins, White Lady, Aviation, Monkey Gland, Southside, Gin Gin Mule and New Orleans Fizz are but a few of them. That made us decide it simply cannot be missing from the Vette Letters font collection. Vette Letters designer Henning Brehm originally designed VLNL Gindicate for the 2015 action movie Hitman: Agent 47. It was specifically used for the logo and signage of the maverick ‘Syndicate International’ organisation in the film. It lay dormant in a folder for a while, when it was reworked into this flashy 5 weight family. VLNL Gindicate is a rounded modern sans serif family, suitable for a multitide of applications, corporate or otherwise. It has somewhat of a warm sci-fy feel, without being overtly techno-ish. In the family are 3 regular weights (Light - Regular - Bold), but also an Inline and Multiline weight for extra design possibilities. Grundee is a grungy serifed face. It is sloppy and irregular but still quite legible. It was one of several efforts to draw a serifed typeface by pen; see also SarahfSlob, which contains a complete family of styles.

Narrow Nouveau JNL come from the hand lettered title on a 1907 song folio for George M. Cohan's "The Talk of New York", and is available in both regular and oblique versions.

The extra bold, squared Art Deco sans hand lettering found on a 1940s travel poster for the Pennsylvania Railroad inspired Rail Service JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Hand lettering on the cover of the 1932 sheet music for "Sleep, Come On and Take Me" was the basis for Overnight JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Fortuita is a versatile sans fit for text or display. The name carries some of its history as it was born from logo sketches that fortuitously grew into a type family over eight years. It comes with a tall x-height, rendering it readable at smaller sizes. It has sixteen weights, eight regular ones, and their italics, each with small caps, something you may not see very often with sans serifs. It counts with old-style numbers that can switch to its lining, small caps, or tabular versions through open-type features. The family carries a distinct personality in its design that will lend itself to its subject, all the while without becoming distracting or detracting from it.

Visoko is a playful, geometric typeface inspired by post-modern fonts designed by Mecanorma from the 80s. This typeface has been designed on a grid of 7×6 squares but the goal was to create variations from the grid to give the character a destructured aspect. VISOKO is available in two styles : regular and italic and only in uppercase. It has aspects of Laser shapes and proportions but has modern additions that make it ideal for industrial brands and modern titles.
