Texas Chili is a modified version of our Philadelphian font family. With Texas Chili we've squared the curved inside brackets from the Philadelphian font which helps open up the inside of some letters for a sharper appearance. The Texas Chili font family also includes a Unicase i that's balanced to the weight of the uppercase. You need an application such as Adobe Creative Suite or any other Opentype aware program to access the alternate Unicase i in the Chili font family.

I am not really sure if goldfish in general are lucky. They tend to swim in circles in a bowl, but maybe, years from now, scientists discover that these goldfish count themselves lucky to be in a bowl, rather than in a stream in Asia. Personally, I think they’d be better off in a stream. Lucky Goldfish font is a cute and happy font, ideally suited for book covers, posters and toy packaging. Comes with a school of diacritics too.

Darker Marker is just what the name suggests: I found a very big fat marker in a local stationary store, bought it, came home and went to work on this font. Darker Marker is a very clear, very easy to read marker font. It is all caps, but upper and lower case differ and can be interchanged. Darth Vader would have said: “come to the dark side” and I believe you should. Darker Marker comes preloaded with all the diacritics you need.

Aderyn is a hand drawn, elegant font with a light touch to it. Aderyn is soft and sleek, but also comes in bolder styles to give a little extra oomph to your designs. Aderyn is Welsh for 'bird', a language I meant to master, but never took beyond 'good morning', 'bird' and 'cat'. I know, it's pathetic… Aderyn comes in 12 styles, all of which have kerning, stylistic and contextual alternates for both lower and upper case letters. It even has a smiley!

I love peanuts! Actually I eat peanuts every day, in the shape of Peanut Butter ... and it kind of slaps me in the face with energy and good taste! What a good way to start the day! Bluenote is a font based on Franklin Gothic condensed. In the 60s and 70s the record label Blue Note published all those classic jazz records of my youth. Someone at their arts department cut letters to ribbons and designed wonderful record covers with those fragmented glyphs. I recently had a look at my music collection and rediscovered these letters. Being a hard-working type designer I couldn't resist the challenge, here is the result from your dilligent designer Gert Wiescher

Liner Notes is a fun scrawly, marker felt, ALL CAPS display font. I wanted it to look fun, loud, and to have hints of School graffiti, so it can wail from Posters and Headlines. It has over 260 glyphs and several variations on the standard alphabet and all those extra pésk¥ foreign features. It also has various letters with extra ligatures and flourishes available through OpenType or your Glyphs palette. OMG, LOL I also added some web slang to the glyphs.

Comicraft first created this font, based on the unique European lettering style of Ladronn, for the Marvel X-book CABLE in 1998. It was later upgraded for THE INHUMANS mini-series, and modified again for the HIP FLASK mini-series in 2002. In 2018, we Remastered it for the new LOST IN SPACE series from Legendary, with improved spacing and kerning, an additional Bold weight, and our patented Crossbar I Technology to automatically place the crossbar I in the right spots.

Summit rehashes both Circuitry Fonts, combining them into one font. To further modernize Summit, I have included all the characters required for full character set. Regular with Small Caps. Summit includes all punctuations, numerals, diacritics and special characters. The oringinal Circuitry Font was inspired by the printing on electronic circuit boards, it was interesting that most all printed font-strokes were either 90 or 45 degrees. I have kept most if not all of these angles while simultaneously giving it a contemporary feel.

Popsmart means "smart or skilled in a superficial, self-righteous or annoying way" - but when I was young in the 1980ies, it was a positive thing to be popsmart. At least in Denmark! :) Anyway, I find this font to be smart in a positive way: It has a bouncy appearance ( with help from the Contextual Alternates, the font cycles the 6 different versions of each letter!) and a "go-ahead-and-type-anything-and-it-will-end-up-looking-good" kinda vibe.

Acid Green has quite a psychedelic flair, but its origins are from long before the sixties psychedelia. Its roots date back to 1914, from an unnamed alphabet by J.M. Bergling, the amazing jewelry engraver and 'letterform inventor'—as he considered himself—whose books of art alphabets and lettering influenced countless artists, including, not surprisingly, those involved with the genesis of Art Nouveau and Art Deco movements. Neustade is a layered typeface based on a simple grid, taking inspiration from the work of Wim Crouwel and Foundry Types. I challenged myself to create a typeface where words and letters can appear within or outside of other words and letters with the help of layering. Neustades grid also applies to the spacing and kerning of individual letters or words, ensuring that every layer will line up and allowing different weights to interact with each other. Individually each weight within the Neustade family has been designed with legibility at small sizes in mind, allowing for smooth and uninterrupted reading. Neustade in large sizes feels both modern and retro, especially when mixing weights and colors.

Galaxo Dot is a sister to Galaxo Line. HGB Galaxo is a tribute to Othmar Motter (1927–2010), the Vorarlberg graphic artist and typeface designer, who designed very individual and perfectly crafted typefaces in the 1970's and later. (Motter Ombra, Motter Tectura ...) From a Motter sketch of 5 letters for a logogram, I derived a simplified letterform and developed all the necessary characters. Working on these glyphs and delving deeper into Motter's letterforms, the respect for the accuracy with which he drew his letters (in ink) grew more and more. The spiral resembles the shape of a galaxy, hence the name Galaxo. The font is suitable for retro, poster and logo design.

Paperclip Wire is a great font for anyone looking to have a straightforward yet elegant look. All letters consist of Capitals yet the uppercase letters are exaggerated. Because of the nature of the font I suggest using it in no less than 20 pt. font. However, because it is simple it can easily be read when printed. This typeface was developed loosely based on a paper clip itself. the x-height was determined based off the size ratio of the clip and the cap height was based off of a paper clip as it is folded open. The overall shape is straight lines and subtle curves, all relating to each other to allow for a constant flow of letters.

Scillienta is a considered and exacting handwriting font that includes unique ligatures, characters for multiple languages, and a range of mathematical symbols. Inspired by the condensed, small, skinny handwriting traits I have consistently seen in scientists' handwriting, it exemplifies the effort of trying to write neatly when appearance is not the first priority. Scillienta is well-suited to handwritten notes and labels, school work and professional scribbles. It also works well as handwriting on electronic devices such as iPads and other cases in which handwriting might appear less fluid than usual. Scillienta includes 287 glyphs and 17 ligatures to ensure that common double- and triple-letter combinations retain the true-to-life inconsistencies of real handwriting.

Hieronymus Andreae or latter in life Hieronymus Formenschneider as he proudly took a new surname to proclaim his success in the printing industry as the man who introduced the Fraktur script to the world of print. This project was undertaken at the orders of Emperor Maximilian I. One of Fraktur’s first appearances was in a joint venture with the great Albrecht Dürer. This font was based on a later work, Andreae’s magnus opus in the music field, the Coralis Constantini by Henry Isaac. Andreae worked as woodblock cutter and then became a publisher in the city of Nuremberg until his death in 1565. We at PLTF are proud to revive this enormously influential typeface.

Gelato Fresco represents a coming-of-age of a script font that started life in 2011 as the popular Gelato Script. In 2018, Gelato Luxe sought to improve on Gelato Script, and now, with the addition of extra weights for the first time, Gelato Fresco takes the baton. What was always a typographically sophisticated and versatile font, has reached new levels of usability as it becomes a family. In its previous incarnations, the typeface has graced everything from designer handbags to prime-time TV shows; food blogs to wedding invitations; glossy magazines to (not so imaginatively!) ice cream shops. I can't wait to see what this even more versatile version gets used for.

HS Alhandasi is an Arabic display typeface. It is useful for book titles and graphic projects where a contemporary, streamlined look is desired. The font is based on the simple lines of modern and simplified Kufi calligraphy, that support Arabic, Persian and Urdu. This font was created in the beginning as regular weight in 2007 for use in technical and engineering company. The company tends to follow the geometrical shape with equal dimensions in both vertical and horizontal storks. There is also a tendency to make all characters to be similar to oval shape with the impression that they are all geometrical and clear. I followed that with two other weights in 2011, thin and bold.

Rifton is a heavy display typeface designed for use in large sizes. It is available as a regular and italic font or as one Variable Font with an italic axis. Installing the Variable Font offers users additional benefits because, in addition to the pre-defined “upright” and “italic” instances, the interpolations between them can be used. That allows you to have slanted text – but just a little less slanted than in the italic. Rifton is an all-caps design, but the letters mapped to the lowercase keyboard do not always have the same forms as the uppercase. That is most visible when it comes to the “s”, which takes a Star-Wars-style form (think of the Star Wars logo). This is the digital makeover and major expansion of a one-of-a-kind melting pot experiment done by VGC and released under the name Mardi Gras in the early 1960s. It is an unexpected jambalaya of Art Nouveau, Tuscan, wedge serifs, curlycues, ball endings, wood type spurs and swashes, geometry and ornamental elements that on the surface seem to be completely unrelated. But the totality works in a surprisingly loud and playful way that really defies categorization. Jingo is really five fonts in one: Over 1000 glyphs, four character sets, ornaments, swashes and ligatures. The forms are interchangeable in uppercase, lowercase and unicase settings. There is nothing low-key about this typeface. It is well suited for use on posters and book covers that require happy weirdness. But most of all it's great for those who like to fiddle with their type setting until amazingly conicidental pleasantnesses ensue. The Quarantinus font was created during the 2020 covid 19 lock-down. Tranquility being all around, the JOEBOB graphics studio almost felt like a monastery, and as a result my style of writing and my choice of pen had to fit. All this writing was turned into an authentic handwritten script font with over 150 ligatures, which make it look very credible and spontaneous. The font is especially suitable for personalized 'handwritten' notes, cards and messages. It can be used on T-shirts and on shop-windows. It has an 'instant logo' quality, it can be used for tattoo-designs and it screams home-made everything. And in case you are a writer you now have an option to print your work in a way that seems as if you wrote it yourself. FG Noel works great at small and large sizes. I can imagine a kids' book with this font and it will be perfect for cute quotations on greeting cards.
