Milky is a brisk Brush Script with smooth and bold characters. Milky is both legible and characteristic. It's strong and friendly, perfect for logotypes, packaging and other branding use. Most fonts include uppercase and lowercase letters. Some experimentally-minded designers have proposed unicase typefaces as well: rather than having two different forms for a given letter, unicase fonts have one, chosen from the upper- or lowercase forms. Expanse is a retro futuristic typeface. The font has a bold and big vibe and mixes sharp and round corners, kind of like the very old sci-fi movie titles. Expanse includes uppercase multilingual letters, numbers and punctuation.

Font naming is not all that difficult. Take Printout for example. I was busy working on this font, when my niece came over with a poem she needed to have printed. One of her classmates had the same request (they’re writing poems for our national Remembrance Day). As I was printing out these poems, I thought the name Printout would be perfect for the font I was working on. See? It’s not rocket science! Printout is a totally awesome, completely handmade font. I used an almost dried out Japanese brush pen to get the eroded effect. Maybe I should name my next font ‘Dried Out Brush Pen’? I’ll let you know.

History, as it's said, tends to repeat itself. The round-point pen lettering used in the 1920s logo and ads for Dodge Brothers cars (pre-General Motors) is an early predecessor to the techno type styles of the 1980s. Square in shape, with unique stylization to some letters, Jalopy JNL can cross the decades and be used for a 1920s period piece and still look fresh in an ad for computer parts. Rather than round out the inside lines of the characters to fully emulate the strokes of a lettering pen, the inside lines have straight intersections for the contemporary side of this font's design.

A revival of one of the popular wooden type fonts of the 19th century, suitable for display, extra condensed.
