This 12-font family employs several unique features including a 2-part Chisel set which allows for the look of stone incised lettering. Hedonic has just a hint of a slab serif and even that is used so sparingly that it almost feels like a sans serif font. Its design does appear to be painfully simple but there are many interesting features including a selection of weights, small caps with old style numerals and display weights that make it very useful. And legible. Old style numerals are included with the small caps and italics. Also for display purposes are two "Chisel" fonts. Used together, set one on top of the other, they create a stylish 3D effect—ideal for logos and headlines or anything that needs a strong graphic punch. Hedonic may not be as eccentric as many fonts out there, but overall it is clean and legible with a few extra flourishes to stand out from the crowd!

The name “Parchemin” is derived from the word in old English for “parchment.” Our modern word “parchment” changed its spelling to conform with French spelling practices during the French occupation of England. The font was created to suggest an informal but antique form of handwriting written on parchment with a quill pen. The scratchiness of the old quill pen is conveyed in the roughness of the characters. The font was loosely based on the font Queen. Use this font whenever you want to suggest rough informality or antique handwriting. The characters have been letter-spaced and kerned in such a way that they join perfectly with one another giving a completely convincing imitation of genuine handwriting. Mancunium is a sans serif family with a contemporary monolinear character, though designed with the iconic proportions of Roman capitals in mind. In addition to reliable romans, the typeface includes proper, optically corrected italics. Also, uniquely, a set of ‘vertalics’ that contain the more script-like glyphs of the italics with angled stem terminals, but which are unslanted and upright in aspect, and without the slight narrowing of the italics. Each font includes a full complement of Latin Extended-A characters and additional oldstyle numerals. Mancunium is sold in two collections – a Regular/Bold package and a Light/Medium package. We use an old hand juicer at home: a cheap plastic one that we bought a long time ago at a Swedish home appliances and furniture giant. We haven never considered upgrading to an electronic one, as it still works, it doesn’t use electricity and we don’t really use it that often. This font is called Juicer. It was not named after our manual juicer, or any juicer in particular. It was just a word that seemed to fit the font nicely. Juicer font is a handwritten, script-ish kinda font that comes in two great styles and contains a set of double letter ligatures.

I decided to draw the Regular style of Trivia Humanist not too light and the Bold not too dark. Delicate anatomy and moderate contrasts of serifed humanist typefaces aren’t usually born by interpolating between extremes, but rather by meticulous care for each individual letter. A delicious blend of a trace of punchcutter’s tool and calligrapher’s hand with as few historical reminiscences as possible. It stays away from any strong aesthetic colorations as well, which is a common feature of the Trivia family system. I wanted a clear and majestic typeface for book jackets, LP cover designs, posters, exhibition catalogues and shorter texts. But at the end it turned out excellent for largest books as well.
