Once I found a pretty H letter initial on an ancient book. The letter was illuminated by beautiful engraved leaves. Based on it, I designed A-Z and 0-9 sets and assembled Medieval Leaves font. The typeface was designed at ParaType (ParaGraph) in 1993 by Vladimir Yefimov based on Herold Reclameschrift by Heinz Hoffman of H. Berthold (Berlin), 1901, and Russian Herold typeface of the Berthold typefoundry (St. Petersburg). The bold style based on Herold Heavy of H. Berthold (Berlin), 1904, of the same designer. Advertising and headline typeface in Art Nouveau style.

Night Life JNL follows the classic lettering forms of the Art Deco era of the 1930s and 1940s. On the upper case letters, the A,B,E,F,H,K,P and R have extended horizontals, while the lower case a,b,e,f,h,k,p and r have those extensions removed and are more traditional in design.

Northfork JNL is based on a William H. Page wood type alphabet called Parisian, circa 1857-58.

Eh, what's up, Doc? This cuddly little oddball of a typeface was originally released under the rather unlikely name of Hercules by the Amsterdam Typefoundry in 1926. This face includes OpenType Stylistic Alternates for b, h, h, k and l, which feature very tall ascenders with a "bunny ear" vibe. Both versions include the complete Latin 1252, Central European 1250 and Turkish 1254 character sets, as well as localization for Moldovan and Romanian.

FourJuly contains three patriotic fonts that might be fun to use in July. They are also very hard to read, but perhaps not as hard as the somewhat similar letters in the fonts of FlagDay. FourJuly A has square, blocky letters with star interiors. FourJuly G and FourJuly H add diagonal stripes. FourJuly G and FourJuly H can be layered on top of FourJuly A to create bicolored letters.
