Haglos Script was inspired by Modern Vintage & Retro style in combination with old American traditional style. It's bold and has amazing swashes. In my examples I show how this script can be used. It's very well suited for logotypes, product labels, food flyer, and others.

In creating Vectora, Adrian Frutiger was influenced by American Gothic styles, especially those of Morris F. Benton’s Franklin Gothic and News Gothic. Vectora is light and balanced, giving text legibility and a harmonious appearance.

The Brāhmī alphabet is the ancestor of most of the 40 or so modern Indian alphabets, and of a number of other alphabets, such as Khmer and Tibetan. It is thought to have been modelled on the Aramaic or Phoenician alphabets, and appeared in India sometime before 500 BC. Another theory is that Brāhmī developed from the Indus or Harappa script, which was used in the Indus valley until about 2,000 BC. The earliest known inscriptions in the Brāhmī alphabet are those of King Asoka (c.270-232 BC), third monarch of the Mauryan dynasty. Brāhmī was used to write a variety of languages, including Sanskrit and Prakrit.

After having finished Pondicherry font, I stayed in the 'Indian Mood' (so to speak) and named this font after another Indian city. Bombay Blue turned out to be a handsome typeface with a flirty air, suburban chic and just enough sleaze to keep everyone happy. Comes with a diacritical pantheon.

This font was designed to resemble the Indo-Aryan scripts of the Indian subcontinent.

ITC Simran was created by the London designer Satwinder Sehmi in 1998. The Indian influence is recognizable at first glance and lends the font an exotic feel - at least to the western eye. Sehmi borrowed forms and feelings from northern Indian writing systems for this typeface. Both the upper and lowercase letters make use of the same lowercase forms, but the upperacse letters have the addition of a horizontal bar running over them at the ascender height. This feature is directly reminiscent of writing systems in northern India, and is ITC Simran's most distinguishing characteristic. But there were other influences as well: Sehmi was also inspired by uncial forms when designing this typeface. ITC Simran exhibits the typical look of writing with a broad-tipped pen, with its strong strokes, as well as characteristic letter forms, for example, the a or h. ITC Simran is a fascinating and harmonious symbiosis of a variety of influences from different cultures. This font is best used for headlines and short texts in point sizes of 12 and larger.

Monotype Gallia's design was initially developed by Wadsworth A. Parker for the American Type Founders (ATF) in 1927. Monotype released its own version in 1928. Its style is embodied with the spirit of the American Art Deco age and the Roaring 20s. It makes a superb headline selection, and has also been used effectively for packaging as well. The shape influences are also vast, ranging from scripts, to blackletters, to romans. Making Scribal a very "Americanized" font, reflective of this "Americanized" style of Tribal Tattooing.

Regency is named after the style associated with the period, which is at once elegant and luxurious. A modern classic, it is influenced by Americana and Optima and combines the style of a serif face with the simplicity of sans serif.

Monk is a multi-language geometric harmoniously balanced font in Arabic and Latin. The font family has its origins in Benedictine and Franciscan writing. Both Arabic and Latin work seamlessly together having shared counters, stem thickness, and curved forms. Roadstar is a script designed in the style of the classic American advertising font from the 1940's-1950's. Greyton Script is the work of South African designer Gerhard Schwekendiek, who is known for his script lettering and logos. The 1907 novelty song "Since Arrah Wanna Married Barney Carney" (about an Irishman taking an Indian maiden as his bride) had its title hand-lettered in a sans serif style that reflected both the Art Nouveau flavor of the time and a hint of what was to come during the Art Deco movement.
