Our first font of Grecian was so old that it had been cast in a hand mold. Extremely popular face in the nineteenth century, made by many foundries and wood type makers in various widths. Lowercase was added by some foundries in later years.

In the old Amsterdam neighborhood of 'De Jordaan', you will find a canal called Bloemgracht (Flower Canal). For many years, a coffee store called Schildmeijer could be found here. Their paper coffee bags and advertisements sported a hand made font which I have tried to recreate and the result is Bloemgracht typeface. It is an all caps art deco font, quite angular, but very legible and distinct. Bloemgracht comes with extensive language support.

In March 2011, the Society of Typographic Aficionados began organizing a collaborative project that would unite the typographic and design communities. The goal of Font Aid V: Made for Japan was to raise funds to expedite relief efforts after the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Nearly 300 contributors from 45 countries sent in over 500 glyphs in a single week. Behind the scenes, volunteers Neil Summerour, Silas Dilworth, Delve Withrington, and Grant Hutchinson were up to their elbows in Adobe Illustrator and Fontlab assembling the typeface. The sheer number of submissions coupled with the complexity of some of the designs caused unforeseen delays in completing the typeface. The team not only managed the immense influx of submissions, it also had several technical hurdles and multiple content reviews to mitigate before the final font could be produced. Several months after the project was initiated, Font Aid V: Made for Japan was finally ready for distribution. With the help of Sogo Japan, all proceeds from sales of this typeface will be delivered directly to organizations in Japan, such as Second Hand and AMDA International (Association of Medical Doctors of Asia). Sogo Japan strives to help circumvent regular international charity channels and the inefficiencies associated with them. Richfont Bold is the bold version of my handwriting. I always felt that I had unique handwriting. When I was learning how to design fonts, the first font I made was Richfont Medium, which Bitstream is selling. The Bold version is the perfect companion to the medium version, which is offered at Bitstream.

Belora Vintage has separate lowercase and uppercase letters, as well as numbers, punctuation, and multilingual letters. With alternates and ligatures it's perfect for fancy retro-style logos, or bold header text and much more.

A well-designed bold art deco font. Very chunky. Uppercase, lowercase, numerals and punctuation. CastleType additions to the Koloss family include Koloss Bold Condensed and Koloss Bold Wave. The latter was used beautifully in the wonderful children's book The Leaf Men (and the Brave Good Bugs) written and illustrated by William Joyce.
