Introducing Mullingar, our latest submission to the display typeface’s world library. Heavily inspired by the letters that are used in old/classic advertisements and signpainting culture, with a little magic touch of modern twist to keep this family relevant. Mullingar letterforms were built from bold and blocky base, unique serif combinations, clean plus smooth curves, and sharp edges. Available in six styles (Regular, Bold, Light, plus Slanted in each version), that guaranteed to give you joy in designing. Mullingar family is a reminiscent of retro sign painting, featuring a rustic architecture that makes it quite at home in a wide variety of design themes. Its blocky characters are best used in bold signage, headlines, advertising, logo designs, product packaging, merchandise, apparel, posters, album artwork, book covers, titling, etc. This typeface also provides additional versatility through OpenType feature, offering discretionary ligatures, standard ligatures, and stylistic alternates. It extends multilingual support to Basic Latin, Western European, Euro, and Pan African Latin languages for design projects intended for an international audience.

Beppo is a bold upright casual script with a condensed character width and a full palette of ordindals, small caps, and diacritics. An elegant face with dashing swash caps, based on an old American Type Founders typeface called Canterbury. The Opentype version of this font supports Unicode 1250 (Central European) languages, as well as Unicode 1252 (Latin) languages.

Frank H. Atkinson was a popular Art Nouveau sign painter in Chicago, Illinois. He designed signs for the Cadillac Motor Car Co., Chicago Academy of Fine Arts and the department store Marshall Field. Oddly enough, he even designed signs for other sign painters. In 1908 he published a book, Sign Painting, which sold well. French Plug, a bold, rounded, all-cap design in an American Art Nouveau style from that book. It has a relaxed, easy-going informality that is useful for ads and flyers. It also would have fit very nicely with many French posters of the period.

StoneWash is a funky, grunge font, with a monumental marble finish. The font combines an “old as the hills grunge” look with IN YOUR FACE, modern lines. It has a look of very old, washed out denim, about to disintegrate. Working at American Type Founders from a Bruce Foundry recutting, Morris Fuller Benton worked out the dramatics of the English Fat Face, and in 1928 produced Ultra Bodoni, a headline spectacular. Using Benton’s 1933 Ultra Bodoni Extra Condensed, Richard Lipton digitized Bodoni FB Bold Condensed, then took compression even further and designed Bodoni FB Bold Compressed, a real technical tour de force; FB 1992

Park Avenue is a lighthearted contemporary script designed by Robert E. Smith in 1933 for American Type Founders. This unique design has small x-height lowercase letters with very long ribbon-like ascenders. Park Avenue is a good design for occasional pieces such as invitations and menus.

Monotype Lightline Gothic is a thin sans serif face cut by American Type Founders to work with Franklin Gothic, which had been designed as a bold face. The rather condensed nature of the Monotype Lightline Gothic font has made it popular for advertising display and newspaper work.

A set of water-applied decals manufactured in 1962 by the American Decalcomania Company for Goodyear serves as the basis for Margate JNL. This block-style letter (with a hint of the Art Deco era) is bold, uniform in weight and commands attention in any titling application.
