Circulaire is a set of initial caps designed by Sjoerd Hendrik de Roos in 1926, and digitized in 2009 by Hans van Maanen. Unusual serifs, spurs and swashes make for interesting continuity points in the familiarly angled shapes, while adding a unique calligrapher's touch to the beheld forms. As far as initials go, this set contains the extra touch of personality needed to lead into a paragraph, which is preferable to the usual swashed italics that are widely used. Circulaire is available in all popular font formats and includes extended support for a wide variety of Latin-based languages.

Monocolo is the result of a reflection on communication and of the language evolution in the new media. For this reason, some emoticons have been added to the usual glyphs and symbols and icons have been added to the regular. These glyphs, through the use of Discretionary Ligatures (DL) feature, can be recalled by using their name or idea associated with them (in the English language). This feature is designed to retrieve the icons quickly and not to be applied to a text, therefore you have to pay attention to compound words when used through DL.

A slightly regularized digital version of a late Baroque Fraktur type, probably from the beginning of the 18th century, issued by the Norstedts type foundry in Stockholm in 56 point size as "Sju petit fraktur nr 2". This digital font is designed for rather large sizes, at least 30 points. The font includes accented letters for all Western languages, as well as a long s and the usual Fraktur ligatures, e.g. ch, ck, st, tz. The font can be used for logos, packaging, posters, restaurant menus, beer and wine labels etc. associated with traditional German and Scandinavian culture.

Newsprint JNL has its origins in an online auction image of wood type. Only the lower case a-z were shown and the type design included an extra-wide 'g' and 's'. Expanding on this idea but narrowing the 's' a bit, Jeff Levine created a capitals set and all of the necessary additional characters - even adding a generous selection of accented characters not usually found in his display fonts. Regular, oblique, narrow, narrow oblique, wide and wide oblique versions are available. All styles offer crisp, clean lettering for headlines, window signage and other display text applications.

A font drawn in a rounded rectangle looks modern – if we do not mind that it was in vogue mainly in the 80s of the last century and was created in the fifties, when various Italian designers noticed that the outline of a glass TV screen is actually the letter “o“. Designed by Gennady Fridman and released by ParaType in 2008. Hub represents so called block letter handwriting style, which becomes more and more usual and nowadays replaces traditional cursive handwriting. One of the reasons for these changes is an often requirement in official forms to write in block letters. Some forms contain even stricter rule – to write in capital letters. Hub was designed to meet these requirements and includes small caps instead of lower case letters. It’s recommended for use in advertising and display typography and especially when you need to show a sample of properly filled bureaucratic form.

I raise chickens for eggs and meat. I usually buy fertilised eggs online and place them in my incubator, which says that it is 'fully automatic'. Of course I added that rather random introduction to tell you how I came up with the name for this new font... Fully Automatic is a handmade cartoon font: I used a sharpie pen to draw the glyphs onto rough paper. The result is a wobbly, yet quite clean cartoon font. Fully automatic comes with extensive language support and two sets of alternates for the lower case glyphs that cycle as you type.

Bang was designed by David Sagorski in 1993 as a playful font of spirals. It consists of two capital alphabets which can be combined like the usual capitals and small caps, although both have the same height. They differ from one another only in the decorative forms which adorn them and the highly decorated characters of one set are complemented by the slightly more reserved characters of the second. Serious this font is not, rather, with its circles and spirals, Bang is best in point sizes 12 and larger and is meant for short texts and headlines.

Biographer is a mild upright script drawn by Angel Koziupa, with Alejandro Paul art directing and producing. Elegant but quite reminiscent of roman forms and proportions, Biographer keeps the calligraphy mostly toned down, but its ascenders and descenders occasionally flare out in final swashy confidence. As usual with Sudtipos fonts, alternates are plenty and the personal touch is never amiss. Biographer is great for women's lit and poetry book covers, as well as tame packaging of products where conveying comfort and peace of mind is of importance. An extensive range of languages are covered (Western and Eastern European, Baltic, Turkish, Maltese and Celtic).

Purveyor Purveyor is a bold modern sans serif with a lot of character. This will be your "Work Horse" for a lot of projects. Glancias Display is a contemporary typeface for article headings. In order to create a style that merges serif and sans serif and to attemp a minimalistic final appearance, Glancias Displas removed the serifs while remaining the high-contrast strokes which are usually found in a serif font. By removing serifs and cutting stroke ends vertically and horizontally, the font has been built in a modern, sleek, neutral and also concise look. Over 400 glyphs in total including upper and lowercase characters, figures, ligatures and signs are available. Cavita Rounded typeface is a mix between both grotesque and calligraphic models: regulars have a rough grotesque spirit, while the italics where inspired in calligraphic gestures. All of these details are reinforced with an inverted modulation (horizontals strokes are thicker than usual). The italics seem to move away from the traditional concept of type system, but work very well alongside. This typeface has very particular shapes and rhythm, itís different and identifiable from the rest, making it a very good option to use on any piece of design. Killer Garbage is a grunge version of my Spitzenklasse font. It's worn and torn real bad - but not more than the font is still legible even at very small sizes. I don't fancy grunge fonts that only has one or two versions of each letter available. The text usually gets very static and predictable, because the same letters are repeated again and again. That's why I have included 6 different versions of each letter in this font! And the great thing about this is that the letters automatically cycles as you type! Forget everything about repeating the same letters all the time!!!

The name Norden means “the Nordic”, as in the geographical area or its countries. Inspired by the simplicity of Nordic and Scandinavian design, the Norden fonts give you clarity of expression, beyond the usual geometric look and feel of traditional sans-serifs. We just had the Eurovision Song Contest here in Holland. I quite like to watch it, as it is usually a freak show of kitsch, political incorrectness and often really bad music. But it is a laugh and this year was no different. It inspired me to create this particular font with this particular name. Sing Along is a happy, wobbly, kitschy font that comes with a bit of ‘over-the-topness’, a few personality issues and an unsteady gait. Needless to say, it is politically incorrect, but that, my friends, is not necessarily a bad thing.

According to Wikipedia, a "clip joint" is an establishment, usually a strip club or night club (often claiming to offer adult entertainment or bottle service) in which customers are tricked into paying excessive amounts of money, for surprisingly low-grade goods or services - or sometimes, nothing - in return. These establishments were rampant during the prohibition years. However, the inspiration for Clip Joint JNL comes from a more positive source - a WPA (Works Progress Administration) poster advertising "The Lure of the National Parks". A bold, classic Art Deco design, it typifies the modern and streamlined approach to lettering in the 1930s and 1940s.

This font has been used for signage and wayfinding in the new Mbombela Stadium built for the FIFA World Cup 2010 - and it looks strangely appropriate there: the font has a certain hand-painted, relaxed charm so fitting of the south African culture. Displace Serif is a continuation of my Displace fonts. Adding serifs allows you to see the font in a new way. There is a more pronounced charm of Italian monumental fonts, but in an expressive way. The appearance of the serifs allowed the font to move to the antiqua class, but this is purely a formal matter. The proportion of serifs changes markedly from weight to weight, allowing the font to retain its decorative character. In the Light drawing the serifs are barely visible and delicate, while in the Black they are in superposition. CyberNippon is a unique latin script font that references Japanese and Cyberpunk motifs.
