Many items we use in our day-to-day lives offer wonderful source material for font designs. Mailbox Letters JNL was inspired by a set of self-stick adhesive letters used on mailboxes, doors and other areas of identification at home or in business. Each letter, number and punctuation mark is centered on a black rectangle - just as the actual model for this font. Use it as spaced, or hand set it tighter to form a ribbon with white-on-black text. To provide continuity for the ribbon effect, a blank rectangle is provided on the vertical bar key (the shift position of the backslash key). Limited character set.

Accura is a sans serif font with a technological aspect and simple letterforms. Its closed angles and smooth curves make it an unique source of personality, and still offers great readability. Perfectly fits to headline sizes and text blocks, Accura has seven precise-calculated weights and their matching italics, from thin to black. Offers support for more than 50 languages and count on opentype features.

Qbig was originally designed as a typeface for an amateur sci-fi movie in 2006. The basic style can be complemented with two types of shadows (Block and Superblock) which leads to 3D effect. The "Shadow" styles can also be used individually for example to create various graphic structures. This typeface is determined for use in larger sizes.

You gotta love this extreme take on the "gothic" blackletter traditions! Roger Nelsson edited a few letters, drastically improved the spacing - and then gave it the usual large CheapProFonts character set. Fun! For the angular, blocky look, the future is Ferrocarbon! Designed primarily as a title font, I created it way back in 2013 and promptly forgot about, so I'm releasing it to the world now. it's meant to be used for your tech and sci-fi uses, but don't let us stop you there!

Macis is a real-and-fake-retro-modern font-family containing five weights from thin to black. It is inspired by shop signs, packaging and typography from around the middle of 20th century. Though it is strictly geometrically constructed, it contains some hand-crafted influences as well as some irregularities. Some say, it dances on the baseline, ’cause the bowls and curves reach far out over the stems. Use it in big sizes, especially the extreme weights!

This font was created with math teachers in mind. It is hard to represent fractions in a way that can print easily in black and white on worksheets or tests. The extra outlines on these shapes are created just for that purpose- so your student can easily identify how many parts are shaded in the image. Blanks are also included so students can color in parts of a whole.

Notebook BH Black was inspired by the block lettering we used to draw on our school binders. Notebook is a unicase design, with the lowercase drawn to the cap height, and each "case" having a distinctly different flavor. The fun and seemingly unlimited combinations of the upper and lowercase forms make it difficult to stop typing innocuous phrases and, if you're mobile, can even make boring lectures tolerable!

Halloween is a time when perfectly reasonable people choose to reenact some lost pagan rituals. No one seems to know why exactly, but Halloween has been celebrated in its present form for a little over one hundred years. This set of ornaments dates back to the early 20th century and depicts a “classic” Halloween collection of black cats, pumpkins, witches, and other indispensable Halloween ornaments.

The second in our Cool Japan series, Odaiba Soul echoes back to some of the futuristic amusement centers and entertainments found on Odaiba Island in Tokyo Bay. Tailored for sci-fi lettering, anime awesomeness or even just making flyers for a day trip across the Rainbow Bridge, this is one to keep in mind!

Fidel Black Essential is a heavily weighted, condensed, sans-serif typeface with a large x-height. Ideal for short, high-impact headlines, its design is inspired by Russian Constructivism and old Cuban communist posters. Variants include Fidel Black, Fidel Black Italic and Fidel Black Stencil. Behance Fixiga is a Modern rounded geometric sans with experiment forms to make powerful visual, a combining with the rounded and some sharp cutting edges. A nice, black display face - for a retro/western poster look. I have kept the quirky “t”, increased the dot above “i” and “j” slightly, improved the spacing/kerning and modified/added all the usual diacritics. A pretty easy reworking of a good quality font. Happy Fingers are a truly mad font! The font contains 10 different versions of each letter - and no two letters are the same - it's a lovely mix of upper- and lowercase, serfifs and sans, grunge, comic, sci-fi, fantasy, computer ... everything you can imagine. And they are all handmade! Of course there is multilingual support and I have even added a black version, for you to use as massive fill, or perhaps a cool shadow! Go crazy, go Happy Fingers!
