Surpassing traditional Antiqua, our new collaborative font family Audela emerges after overcoming time, national borders, language differences, cultural gaps, and professional challenges. Starting off as an exercise project of our very first intern Léa Bruneau in 2018, Audela slowly shaped into a full-fledged elegant serif typeface of 14 styles under the watchful eye of Plamen Motev, Fontfabric’s Type Director. Three years later, Audela is internally regarded as a breaker of limits earning its name from the French “au-delà,” meaning “beyond.” This new rising star features sharp serifs, flowing letterforms, advanced OpenType features, Extended Latin and Cyrillic support, to name a few.

Bintang means Star in Bahasa Indonesia. Bintang font is a hand drawn, computer enhanced font. It is all caps, but upper and lower case differ and can be freely interchanged. Use Bintang for your product packaging, book covers, posters and magazines. Befitting a star, Bintang comes with a galaxy of diacritics.

In the early years of the 20th Century, singer-dancer-actor-composer-playwright George M. Cohan was known as "The Man Who Owned Broadway". In 1904, Cohan was enjoying success with his latest creation, "Little Johnny Jones". Cohan gave America what would become a number of iconic songs, and both he and his compositions were immortalized in the 1942 biographical film "Yankee Doodle Dandy" starring James Cagney. The Art Nouveau-influenced hand lettering of the title on the cover of the sheet music for "The Yankee Doodle Boy" was the model for its namesake digital typeface design and is available in both regular and oblique versions.

This font, as indicated by its namesake, was designed and started by the late Bob Alonso. It represents the first of his unfinished work to be completed by friend and colleague John Bomparte, following Bob's passing in December of 2007. Sultania is a harmonic synthesis of the old characters’ suppleness and the resolute, clean design of modern typography. The rich in contrast calligraphic approach with thick and thin strokes is still visible and you can almost feel traces of ink on paper while it’s shapes in general, without serifs and any embellishments, proclaim its up-to-dateness swinging between roundness and rigor. Working on a Star Wars project? This font is in Aurebesh, the main written language of the Star Wars universe. In this case I designed a font that looks like it has been scratched into a wall. All the additional letters from the Aurebesh character set are includes, as well as numbers and symbols.

In the 19th century typefaces with star-like serifs developed from the medieval type styles, retaining the sharp corners and peaks of some of the blackletter types but losing the flourishes on the upper-case letters. We saw a zigzag type like this made in the 1860s. We copied the idea, but added stars to make it patriotic. Patriotica JNL was inspired by some hand lettering designed by the late Alf Becker for Signs of the Times® magazine. The alphabet was modified and the character set extended in this digital version. Special thanks to Tod Swormstedt of ST Publications, Inc. and the American Sign Museum in Cincinnati for providing a copy of the original lettering for use as a work model. Patriotica JNL is available as a complete font or in a set of two layers (stars layer and stripes layer) for creating two-color graphics.
