IronType (formerly known as Ironman) is an extra bold geometric titling face in the Art Deco poster tradition. A warm sense of strength and playfulness runs throughout this design. Triangular-shaped crossbars are some of its distinguishing characteristics. The face also contains some very amusing alternates. The tails of the alternate cap K and R extend below the line and the alternate cap N has a hump instead of a diagonal stroke. Xunga is a cheerful display typeface. My goal was to design a font able to fit any layout with boldness and playfulness, mixing a sign painter taste in the uppercase and some of my crappy calligraphic reverse contrast explorations with the flat brush for the lowercase. I designed several of widths to fit the page, and though about a different way of expanding the family shifting the horizontal stress axis to move the letter weight in different heights, making a 15 fonts family, suitable for making bold layouts. Xunga has an extended character set for European languages as well as Vietnamese, and shows all its potential with OpenType-savvy applications. Every font includes ligatures, catchwords in discretional ligatures, contextual alternates to avoid conflictive glyph pairs and localized forms to avoid problems with several glyphs and languages.

During trips to the Miami Beach Public Library as a youth, Jeff Levine first caught sight of the signs made with a product called the Webway Sign Cabinet, manufactured by the Holes- Webway company of St. Cloud, MN. Having purchased an old set, Jeff has carefully re-drawn the alphabet and unique contrasting numbers from the original assortment, adding in an extended character set to his font.

Fundevogel is a Brothers Grimm fairytale about a boy who was found in a tree. The story, of course, has all the obligatory characters in it: a fair maiden, a wicked cook, an old forester and lots and lots of shapeshifting. And, yes, a happy end! Smashed Typeface is a reversed-contrast, slab serif, display font. Was inspired by the old west days that we can often see in printing, circus posters and wanted notices in western movies, even tho the style was really used in many parts of the world during that period. This style is sometimes called as "circus letter" too. Was designed to have a modern look, using straighter lines and an extended style, can be used on various situations like posters, logos for restaurants, alternative business like an old washing station (as you can see on the next images), music bands etc. I believe that is a promising typography that can be used by various designers in a lot of diverse project. It counts with 226 multi language characters, one weight on version 1.0, on a next version I hope to take this project to another level, creating a variable typeface from condensed to really extended weights. It would complete this typography and eliminate the limits of use.
