M Razor is so called ""neo Sung-style"" typefaces. Crossbars (橫) and stems (豎) are orthogonal and upright. Their entry and finial points are squarish, parallel without flare. Contrast of strokes is extremely high. This creates sharpness, stiffness in the midst of elegance of Sungti. Even distribution of space, careful positioning, size and proportion of radicals create a slightly expanded, opened and balanced construction. Zhonggong are slightly expanded, its relatively less inter-character spacing makes the line of text better coupled and aligned. Its features and construction create a feel of wholesome, elegance with contrasting sharpness and stiffness. It is best suited for casual, creative display eye-catching text, set upright (non-slanted), non-condensed.

Ultra Condensed is a three-font family with a full character set. Ultra Condensed is a remastering of Tall Skinny Condensed from 1999 which continues to be a favorite. While similar, the fonts are not interchangeable. Shapes of some letters have changed, kerning and spacing are different. Tall Skinny Condensed does not have a full character set. Ultra Condensed Lettered is a hand lettered version of the hard edged Ultra Condensed. Ultra Condensed Line also hand lettered, is a thinner version of Ultra Condensed Lettered. These three fonts work well together or with a non condensed font, great for headlines at a large size. Works well for lots of copy in a small space.

In Vasetters the letters are cut from the shape of a tessellating vase. To get the tessellating effect, the two sets of letters (and numbers and some symbols) must alternate, and this is done automatically in applications that support the OpenType feature of Contextual Alternatives (calt). Vasetters is monospaced and comes in two weights. The regular weight is tightly spaced, which should not be a problem at large point sizes. At small point sizes adjacent letters can be colored differently or the character spacing can be increased. The lighter weight can be used alone or layered above the regular weight to create the effect of hollow lettering. Vasetters is is fun, bizarre, weird, and obviously a decorative display font.

Via sans is a font inspired by classics like Steile Futura and Din 1451, with neo-humanist characteristics. It was designed as a font for fast reading from a distance, which saves horizontal space in the text composition, making it a very good alternative when composing long phrases in reduced spaces, with high readability in various sizes due to its ample counters. With round corners that reduce the irradiation that reflective materials in signs produce. This family is composed by 8 fonts, 4 weight variations and 4 inclination variations, which include European accents marks, ligatures, fractions, ordinals and tabular numbers, in addition to a pictogram set that complement applications for wayfinding and maps.

The characters of Skagwae have no curves, just straight line segments. The letter shapes themselves are fairly standard, but the choppy line segments used to construct them give the fonts a crude, unfinished look that is highlighted at large point sizes. At small point sizes the fonts are surprisingly legible. The family has nine styles. The regular, bold, italic, bold italic, shadow, and shadow inside styles are proportionally spaced. Shadowinside is very similar to regular but is spaced to be used in a layer with the shadow style. SkagwaeMono-Regular and SkagwaeMono-Bold are monospaced versions of the family. A third monospaced style, SkagwaeMono-Rippled, is a distorted version with squiggly lines full of curves.

This African font is modern and fluid. Its name means "water" in the Zulu language, and like the deep rivers that flow through the African jungles, it contains few straight lines. Use it when you want to convey a feeling of strength combined with flexibility. Use it for headings, posters and adverts when you want to create an impact. This African font includes a full character set: - all the upper and lower case letters, as well as all numerals, punctuation and special characters. The numerals are mono-spaced so that they will line up correctly in columns of figures. The letters of the alphabet are spaced according to their width and are carefully kerned to create an attractive appearance.

This is the tallest, skinniest, most condensed, non serif font I know of. I designed this because I felt a serious need for that one big, thin word to fit in a narrow space. It is great for ‘SALE!’ in a one column ad. Also is a life saver for several long words in a narrow space like Merry Christmas... I began my work on Emona while still struggling with Birka. I took the superellyptic form as the basic shape, and that gives the typeface some of its characteristics. It is strictly vertical. It is easy to classify it in the same section as Bodoni & Company. Emona is what Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, was called in the Roman days. Emona was released in 1992.

Retaining all the imperfections and irregularities of wood type, Wormwood Gothic is a gothic sans with all the naive and uneven character shapes typical of the period. The ‘capitals’ feature extended characters, while the ‘lower case ’ features capitals of squarer proportions. Freely mix the two in word settings or colour in red and black for a Dada collage, billposter, urban grit or antique Americana atmosphere.

The combination of some Bodoni extra-wide wood type letters and an image redrawn from a 1940s package label from the long-defunct Railway Express Agency form the characters in Letter Delivery JNL. Zapf Book font is the work of German designer Hermann Zapf, a blend of the characteristics of Walbaum, Melior and the contrasting weights of Bodoni. It is a typical Zapf font, distinction without eccentricity and superb sensitivity and letterfit, and clearly demonstrates his concern that an alphabet work not just as a collection of single letters, but also have a sense of unity in itself.

A new take on the classic font Bodoni, revealing the structural elements of the font, and adding a little sparkle with a pseudo-stencil treatment. Riposte is a powerful and carefully-integrated handwriting font. You should use it where you want to create a strong impact but want to avoid heavy, boxy, formal fonts. The characters were designed for excellent letter-spacing without kerning, but you can switch kerning on to add some subtle enhancements to the letter-spacing. Riposte is readable, even at quite small sizes. It was designed to be used as a mix of upper and lower-case letters. Do not make text using only uppercase letters since the spacing of the uppercase letters was optimized for use together with lowercase letters. So remember, when you want your text to have the powerful impact of the master swordsman with his balanced stance and vigorous movement -- try Riposte. The font is fully professional: carefully letterspaced and kerned. It contains over 235 characters - (upper and lower case characters, punctuation, numerals, symbols and accented characters are present). It has all the accented characters used in the major European languages. Riposte works well in professional layout application packages as well as in word-processing packages such as Microsoft Word® that do not support professional kerning.

Type Tiles JNL is based on a ‘completed’ version of ‘Alpha-Blox’ by American Type Founders, circa 1944. The capitals, lower case and numerals shown in the sample sheet put out by ATF depicted type made with five-high blocks comprised of modular units spaced two points apart. These units could be combined in varying ways to create custom type of varying heights and widths and was available for purchase in both linear (multi-line) and reverse (white on black) formats. Using the 'reverse' model shown on the sample sheet, all of the characters were re-created digitally, and missing punctuation, foreign characters and other glyphs found in a basic computer font were drawn and added. The 'J' and 'T' in the type sample had truncations, so a more complete character was created for each of those letters. For those wanting an unbroken string of words or blank end caps, there is a double column space on the vertical bar key. A single column space is located on the broken bar key for shorter end caps. Type Tiles JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions

Since the release of these fonts most typefaces in the Scangraphic Type Collection appear in two versions. One is designed specifically for headline typesetting (SH: Scangraphic Headline Types) and one specifically for text typesetting (SB Scangraphic Bodytypes). The most obvious differentiation can be found in the spacing. That of the Bodytypes is adjusted for readability. That of the Headline Types is decidedly more narrow in order to do justice to the requirements of headline typesetting. The kerning tables, as well, have been individualized for each of these type varieties. In addition to the adjustment of spacing, there are also adjustments in the design. For the Bodytypes, fine spaces were created which prevented the smear effect on acute angles in small typesizes. For a number of Bodytypes, hairlines and serifs were thickened or the whole typeface was adjusted to meet the optical requirements for setting type in small sizes. For the German lower-case diacritical marks, all Headline Types complements contain alternative integrated accents which allow the compact setting of lower-case headlines.
