Ad Lib designed by Freeman Craw for the American Type Founders (ATF) in 1961. A bold Grotesque with irregular rectangular counters in round characters. »Supra Demiserif« is the demi serif addition to the Supra family. I am no fan of slab serif fonts, so I designed this one with half serifs, that makes the serifs less important. Then I found, that the italic does not look nice with slab serifs, so I did only one italic cut for the normal weight. The light and normal weights and the dominant x-height with its high ascenders make for easy reading of long copy. The heavy and x-light weights are great for elegant headlines. Supra is an OpenType family for professional typography with an extended character set of over 700 glyphs. It supports more than 40 Central- and Eastern-European as well as many Western languages. Ligatures, different figures, fractions, currency symbols and smallcaps can be found in all cuts. with each other.

The inspiration behind Amarga comes from the bitter taste of coffee. Gimbo is bold. This heavy sans-serif design features thin counters. The interior spaces inside letterforms have been reduced as much as possible. Often, they seem abstract. There are three fonts in the Gimbo family: Black, Ultra, and Ultra Shadow. What do those terms mean? Well, Ultra is wider than Black. Spur Wide JNL was modeled from an example of hand lettering from the antique French alphabet book L'Art du Tracé Rationnel de la Lettre. Heavy Roman style letters with spurs (often referred to as Latin) were most popular with sign painters and show card writers in the early part of the 20th century. Spur Wide JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Stratham is vigorous sans-serif inspired by the slab serif Clarendon. It is a heavy display face, and has a tangible modern British feel to it. The italic is especially dynamic and forward moving. For some reason I had Paul Simon’s song ‘You Can Call Me All’ in my head when I was busy working on this font, so I just had to call it Bonedigger. Bonedigger does not dig bones, but it does have ‘heavy bones’, as it is quite big. Bonedigger is seriously eroded and would look great on book covers and product packaging. It comes in a lovely regular and italic style and a seriously twisted inline style (with, of course, its own italic). As the song goes: With a knick-knack paddywhack, give the dog a bone, this old font came rolling home.

Paestum is a Latin typeface inspired by Greek inscriptions of the 6th and 5th centuries B.C. Its name comes, suitably, from the Latin name for Poseidonia, a former Greek city south of Naples whose two remaining Doric temples have been on antiquities tours since at least the 1700s. Others have scanned this terrain before, of course, but earlier designs failed to supply a lower case. Although Paestum includes complete upper- and lowercase alphabets, diacritics, numerals, and essential punctuation, it does not have many unhistorical glyphs -- such as currency symbols and the @ sign. Paestum comes with three weights: light, medium, and heavy.

Where Modern is too fragile and Century too boring, Hercules comes with its elegant forms and, at the same time, with sufficient firmness to be usable for longer texts. In its heavy, bold designs it approaches Falstaff, while in the light ones it has some features which are taken over from Didot or from Modern. The text designs have been corrected for small sizes. The range of its use is, therefore, quite extensive - from dictionaries and technical literature through magazines to art posters and advertising materials. Suitable combination: Splendid Quartett (especially recommended), Excelsor Script, Plagwitz, but also Zeppelin and Compur.

Chipperly is a brand new face inspired by the art of the Edwardian poster, especially travel posters. It’s good for clear ad legible headings which need a gentle and unobtrusive period touch, and is the latest is Greater Albion’s line of faces to explore the ‘small capitals’ idea. In its regular weight, Chipperly’s glyphs are semi-shaded within an outer outline giving a distinctive look, while the Heavy weight maintains the separate outline but is completely filled. The Light form is an outline alone. All forms unite period elegance with the modern need for clear readiility.

Publicity Headline is an allcaps advertising font. Its heavy weight and robust strength allows it to be used against complex backgrounds or reversed out on dark backgrounds without getting lost. It also has a warm, friendly feeling for the conventional headlines indicated by the name. Publicity Headline is a distinctive and appealing font for creating bold and unusual headlines. This font includes the alternate R & S and the CO, LY & ST ligatures that were part of Gaunt’s original design. In addition, the ligatures AV, AW, WA, WO & YO are provided; along with AT, OF, AND & THE in the form of underlined small caps.

Meet EXCESSA!! a new futuristic and modular typeface family directly evolved from my previous released, AREON FLUX. Comparing it to his cousin, EXCESSA inherit most of the glyphs but a certain large group of letters are designed with a more obvious curvature that creates a slightly different visual dialog. It cames also in the same 3 styles as it’s predecessor: Athletic, Medium and Heavy. His more dynamic and modular structure makes it an excellent choice for designs that needs a futuristic, technical, unusual and sci-fi touch.
