Spotlight was created by British designer Tony Geddes in the tradition of the bold serif fonts of early 19th century England. Joseph Kaspar Sattler, one of the great German art nouveau artists created these nice initials in 1897 for the famous royal monumental book project Die Nibelunge for the Reichsdruckerei Berlin.
