Flimsy is 100% handmade, but digitally remastered. I removed some blobs here and there, but kept enough of the original handmade line in order to make the Flimsy stand out as an organic and powerful ALL CAPS font! I've also added 5 slightly different versions of each letter, along with multilingual support!

This font set is the second in a series from P22 Type Foundry based on the lettering styles of Frank Lloyd Wright. Created in 1931, the Exhibition lettering was intended primarily to accompany Frank Lloyd Wright's exhibition drawings and models. Many of the 72 Extras were designed to form continuous linking borders. Combinations of these geometric forms can provide endless variations of decorative elements in the style of Frank Lloyd Wright. Many of these images were based on Mr Wright's "Saguaro Forms and Cactus Flowers" illustration for an unused Liberty magazine cover of 1926. Other imagery in this set was derived from assorted geometric designs by Wright. Exhibition Regular, Light, and Bold have been remastered and now contain almost 400 characters including support for Western and Central European languages.

@andinistas presents Bleak , an experimental font designed by #carlosfabiancg. Bleak is based on the imaginative use of contrast applied in the empty space and on the dramatic distributions of the wide and compressed horizontal of more than 400 textured symmetric capitals inspired by compositions of the Lissitzky, Theo van Doesburg, among others. In the Europe of the 20s, scarce resources prevailed, which gave these great artists the firm determination and dedication to create a visual vocabulary, characteristic of the composition with movable types of wood and metal. As they did not readily dispose of the forms of the letters they required, they did not hesitate to construct them with metal rulers, ornaments and other improvised pieces and remains and obtained in the forgotten corners of the typographic composition workshop.

Symbojet is the first professionally designed font equally covering alphabetic and pictographic characters on a large-scale scheme. It’s typographically based on Andreas Stötzner’s recent “Lapidaria” design and uses brandnew standard Unicode-6.0 codepoints for about 340 symbol characters. The handwritten cursive by the famous Italian Casanova has inspired Petra Beiße to design a new script, the “Casanova Script Pro”, with a complement of over 1400 characters and symbols. “Petras Script”, the first digital script font created by the calligrapher Petra Beiße, has, for many years, met with worldwide success. Petra Beiße has resided for a long time in Wiesbaden, Germany, where she is working as a renowned calligrapher. It is rare that any of her scripts are transferred into digital format and sold worldwide as fonts. Because “Petras Script” became such a huge success, she decided to release this new design for digitization. Under the guidance of Günther Flake, Jessica Franke enlarged this font to contain over 1400 characters. Beginning in January, 1932, Becker, at the request of then-editor E. Thomas Kelly, supplied SIGNS of the Times magazine’s new Art and Design section with an alphabet a month, a project predicted to last only two years. Misjudging the popularity of the “series”, it instead ran for 27 years, ending finally two months before Becker’s death in 1959, for a grand total of 320 alphabets, a nearly perfect, uninterrupted run. In late 1941, almost ten years after the first alphabet was published, 100 of those alphabets were compiled and published in bookform under the title, “100 Alphabets”, by Alf R. Becker. And so, as published in August, 1937, The Fontry presents the truly "modern" version of Becker’s 187th alphabet, Moderne Caps, complete with OpenType features and Central European language support.

The Madison Ave. family started from Madison Ave. at Fontstruct.com. As my most downloaded font, this was an easy, although not necessarily logical choice to make – regarding taking an existing free font and attempting to offer it for purchase. The font is very basic and simple in its layout, but has achieved popularity over at Dafont with almost 80,000 downloads with its cool, understated nature and inherent sophistication. The original Madison Ave. is now 95 Madison Ave. A couple of glyphs have changed from the original, but mostly the set is the same. The big news here is the availability of multiple variations on the original. Ninety-five refers to the filter settings used to achieve the faint cross lines in the font. The sequence 95-100 provides a gradual fade to solid effect when used together. The other versions use variations on the filter settings that allow each its own distinctive flavor, while at the same time maintaining inherent characteristics of the original. Ninety-five is now joined by 55, 75, 97, 99, 100, 102, 105, 155, 175, 201, 202, and 275. 100 is the solid version which doesn’t contain the trademark lines found in 95. In 95-99, the line width varies to achieve subtle effects. 50 and 85 are distorted by reducing the filter settings in a somewhat minimizing fashion. In 102-205, these are distorted by increasing the filter settings above the normal which is what 100 represents. While some of the effects are extreme and challenge the legibility of text, these can be fun or edgy. They offer a cohesion that can be used to advantage for different projects that require the use of a modern font family.
