This typeface has its roots in the Egyptienne-family which became popular in the beginning of the 19th Century. Based on the late 1970s artwork by outstanding Armenian type designer Henrik Mnatsakanyan (1923-2001). That was the only design created by Mnatsakanyan for Latin and Cyrillic. Digital version with adding the missing characters was designed for ParaType in 2003 by Manvel Shmavonyan. The font name Henman proposed by Mnatsakanyan is formed of the first three letters from the each designer's name: HENrik and MANvel. Some fractured elements make the face informal and a little bit funny. For use in text, advertising and display matter.

French type designer Xavier Dupré created this serif FontFont in 2003. The family has 8 weights, ranging from Light to Bold (including italics) and is ideally suited for advertising and packaging, festive occasions as well as editorial and publishing. FF Angkoon provides advanced typographical support with features such as ligatures, small capitals, alternate characters, and case-sensitive forms. It comes with a complete range of figure set options – oldstyle and lining figures, each in tabular and proportional widths. In 2004, FF Angkoon received the TDC2 award.

Rossika is a four-style typeface designed by Oleg Karpinsky in 2002-2004 for the ParaType company. The general design and some letterforms were borrowed from antique Russian typefaces of XV-XVIII centuries. For example, the upper Cyrillic N has a diagonal stem, a tail of Ц character is attached in the center unlike major contemporary designs. Some characters have alternatives. There are several Latin and Cyrillic ligatures. Rossika is intended for logos, headlines and short text blocks: posters, calendars, post cards, diplomas, certificates and the like.

Type DR Galushki was awarded a Honor Diploma for Excellence in Type Design at the International Type Design Competition TypeArt 05 (Moscow, 2005).
