English designer Richard Bradley created the Calligraphic Ornaments symbol font for ITC in the 1990s. An early-1960s Canadian magazine ad for a brand of birth control pills featured the least likely spokesperson – Annette Funicello (“starring in “Beach Blanket Bingo” and “How to Stuff A Wild Bikini”).
