  14. Penitentiary Gothic by E-phemera, $30.00
Penitentiary Gothic is a digital recreation of the letters used on California state license plates, designed in order to make props for movies and television shows. The regular style is meant to be used on its own, but the other four styles are meant to be used one on top of another in different colors to create an embossed 3D effect. For best results, use the fill style in a dark color on top of a light colored background. Put the lolite style directly on top of the fill style in 10 - 30% of the background color. Put the hilite style directly on top of that in 10 - 30% of your fill color. Put the shadow style directly on top of that using your background color plus 50 - 80% black.
  15. Sassafras by Monotype, $49.00
Arthur Baker's display script Sassafras, designed in 1995, is based on the natural inline effect created when writing with a split-metal nibbed pen. Black and white are nicely balanced, giving this calligraphic face a remarkably smooth appearance. The regular and italic versions of Sassafras include two alternate faces: one with long, tall ascenders and regular-length descenders, and one with shortened ascenders and descenders that allow it to fit where its companion might not. In both, the ascenders increase in width as they move upward, while the descenders taper to a fine point. This variety of form makes Sassafras a very flexible choice for display work.

  36. Savant by Characters Font Foundry, $25.00
I proudly present Savant, a friendly headline typeface with an attitude. It’s got a slab serif touch and is packed with lots of nice typo-gems. The italic is a perfect companion for the regular. But beside that, it's powerful enough to stand its own ground. Savant is a good mixture of the playful and the classic. You can use it for fashion, food, magazines, packaging, corporate design- and other projects with an attitude. So show me what you’ve got! Savant Regular only is completely free in 2012, so download your free copy today!
  37. Bonedigger by Hanoded, $15.00
For some reason I had Paul Simon’s song ‘You Can Call Me All’ in my head when I was busy working on this font, so I just had to call it Bonedigger. Bonedigger does not dig bones, but it does have ‘heavy bones’, as it is quite big. Bonedigger is seriously eroded and would look great on book covers and product packaging. It comes in a lovely regular and italic style and a seriously twisted inline style (with, of course, its own italic). As the song goes: With a knick-knack paddywhack, give the dog a bone, this old font came rolling home.
  38. Gene Condensed JNL by Jeff Levine, $29.00
Gene Gable is known to many graphic artists from his on-line column 'Scanning Around with Gene', which was on the Creative Pro website for a number of years, covering a variety of topics ranging from printing techniques to paper ephemera; water applied decals to lettering stencils. Gene has also been a great help in providing vintage source material to Jeff Levine, which resulted in many additional font designs. It seems only fitting that he should be bestowed with his own-named font as well. Gene Condensed JNL is offered in both regular and oblique versions.
  39. Bon Vivant Family by Nicky Laatz, $20.00
If you've got style and love all the luxuries in life, you're Bon Vivant! Add a touch of luxury and style to your projects too, with the new Bon Vivant Font Collection. It's highly recommended to turn your Opentype features on while using the script font, to make use of it's best features - the multitude of OpenType ligatures. As you type, your text looks like natural handwriting, and less like a monotonous font. The handsome serif comes in 2 weights, regular and bold. Designed to be a perfect complimentary font to the script, its just as striking used on its own.
