Ardina was designed for the Portuguese newspaper Jornal de Notícias. Right after the exclusivity period, we decided it was a wonderful addition to our type library, therefore we redesigned it and included an extended set of characters. Ardina is a soft and warm news typeface, with five weights and matching italics, three grades (Display, Title, and Text), and slightly narrow proportions but with a very nice x-height. It’s the right typeface for a serious newspaper that intends to achieve a very contemporary feeling.

The character of Vivala Sans Round is modern and stylish with elegant squarish shapes. The family includes five weights. A large x-height is ideal for titles and body text. The extended character set supports languages like Western, Central European, and Eastern European.

Larque is a slab serif text typeface. The tall x-height and the open counters makes the font very legible at small sizes. Larque includes extended latin characters, ligatures, oldstyle figures and Open Type features. It is available in roman and medium weight.

I just loved the design idea behind this font, but the original font had a lot of ugly artifacts - so I have completely redrawn ALL the letters, before expanding the character set. The lowercase has been redrawn with a higher x-height, making the font even more usable (with more "normal" word shapes). Our Bruno Ace Pro draws its inspiration from modern automotive logotypes. This geometric sans-serif has a wide stance with a tall x-height for a strong look and appeal, as well as ease of legibility. Estandar Rounded is a retro and vintage wayfinding sans serif font, inspired by old signals in central park and Europe. It is a Condensed sans with their tall x-height. The family has 6 Weights, italics and dingbats. It is an extension of Estandar font.

When merely “extended” just would not do, here is Paragraph Stretch™: a super extended or elongated geometric display typeface. It is a typeface with an unicase effect: the capitals and lower case fit the same height and a similar width, so they are interchangeable: fancy a round “W” in all caps? Use the lower case. Want a straight “x” in lower case? Use the cap. And so on. Designed for use at larger sizes for logotypes, short titles or headings. It supports Western plus Nordic, Eastern European and Turkish languages.

Gothiks is a powerfull 6-weight display sanserif influenced by Texturas. The rithm and verticality of Texturas can be easily identified on the letters with diagonal strokes like A N M K k V v W w X x Y y Z z: here they are all vertical. This kind of morphology was chosen because it accepts condensation in a very natural way, giving to this compact sanserif a very unique personality. The intermediate weights can be used for short texts while extreme weights are excellent for big sizes. It has an extensive character set — with extensive language support — and many OpenType features like fractions, small capitals and different figure sets. Default figures align with lowercase.

Kinetika is a geometric sans serif family that comes in 20 weights, including uprights and matching italics. The idea behind Kinetika was to create a very impactful display type family that would be perfect for branding — to do so it needed to have large x-height, distinctive and legible letterforms as well as friendly characters. A completely square typeface. And wide. It is all futuristic and fast. Bulbia is a single weight, display typeface inspired by the teardrop shape featured in some middle eastern design. The movie poster for the 1937 film “Cafe Metropole” served as the basis for Outdoor Cafe JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions. The extra bold, stylized letter forms with their rounded corners typify the wide variety of typographic styles the Art Deco period offered.

Discharge is a bold, heavy, distressed and destroyed sans serif typeface. It was started alongside Universally Corrupt and Insurgent, but it took a couple extra years to finish. It was expanded to include extended Latin, extended Cyrillic and Greek alphabets, so it will work with most languages in Europe and the Americas.

Bold, black and square. But was first drawn as a logotype for the magazine "BUT – Bilder und Texte" (pictures and texts) which was published by an experimentally-oriented non-commercial initiative. In consideration of the unusual dimensions of the magazine (6 x 14 cm / 2,4 x 5,5 inch), I decided to fill as much space as possible with the body of type. This formal idea refers to the meaning of the title by blurring the border between legible letters and abstract shapes. Because of its origin, But is ideal for short messages in headline point size. Despite its blocky shapes, But creates a friendly atmosphere. The details are as playful as the restrictions that are given by the concept allow them to be. Punctuation marks and other special characters contrast the boldness of the design since they are matching the thin parts of upper- and lowercase letters. This also avoids gaps when longer texts are set. But is available in open type format and has an extended character set (Latin extended A). Two sets of numerals, one matching the x-height and another one matching the cap-height, are provided.

Melaza is a new calligraphy font, designed from a handwritten script, round, very expanded and with very low x height and exaggerated ascender and descender height. Filler is a display typeface that allows you to change the width of font characters from extra narrow to extremely wide shapes. The typeface includes complete Latin language support with contrasting drawing of accents and punctuation. The character set includes special symbols, such as a set of emoticons or arrows that support OpenType features. In addition to the five styles – Compressed, Condensed, Medium, Extended, Expanded, Filler also offers Filler Variable font.
