HS Alnada is a modern OpenType Arabic Typeface. It is a modern Kufi / Naskh hybrid and keeps the balance between its construction and calligraphic angular cuts. This typeface supports Arabic, Persian, Urdu and Kurdish variants and it is available in five weights: light, regular, medium, bold and black. They are refined with enhanced legibility and are ideally suited to advertising, extended texts in magazines, newspapers, book and publishing, and creative industries, meeting the purposes of various designs for all tastes.

As you can see above, Grante can smartly fit pretty different needs. While lowercase letters are bold-with-soft-edges, caps are magic: this font counts more than 100 ligatures for you to play in an OpenType-aware application. The Vtg Stencil fonts from astype are based on real world stencils from several countries. The Italian stencils that I chose as a model for this font are roughly based on classic French stencil letters. Please compare the figures (numbers) with their French counterparts. However, the Italian stencils are made with a different production technique. The design of the letters is clearly not punch-cut into the plates, maybe they are drilled, milled or etched. Details such as the serifs look bold and clumsy, and when using the stencils as they are meant, with viscous sign paint, smaller details easily fade away. So I took my freedom to design a font close to the original design but adding several typographic tweaks to let it shine, hoping to get closer to the intended design idea of these Italian stencils. A bold and beautiful handwriting - perfect for setting personal and meaningful messages. Some glyph shapes and stroke thicknesses has been normalized (to make the text more even), and I have added some kerning - not too much though, I wanted to keep the liveliness of it. Random Thoughts is a selection of of quite simple handmade capital letters. They are legible, almost mono-lined, handmade and they are a bit jumpy - but never the less, they suit a headline that needs a catchy look very fine! I've included 4 different versions of each letter. One lowercase, one uppercase and two contextual alternates. These 4 different versions automatically cycle as you type, leaving your text quite random - but still very clear and legible! And, of course, there is multilingual support!

Both fonts of the Remus family are complete redesigns of turn-of-the-century fonts. The regular style is based upon an inhouse design of Schelter & Giesecke in 1889, called Romanisch. This font was adopted by other German foundries and slightly modified and a bold version was added. Due to their proportions, these fonts fit perfectly into narrow columns, and still they are very legible. In January 2023, an Italic style was added. Here too it is recommended to use both ligature features Standard and Discretionary.

Lampions are paper lanterns. They are very popular in Asian countries, where they are used at festivals. Lampions are mostly made from rice paper cuttings which are glued to a bamboo frame. Lampion font is a tall, narrow and very legible typeface, which comes with extensive language support.

Here's my super legible and handmade font. I've made several versions, and they overlap and compliments each other very sweetly. To enhance that nice handmade look, the outline and striped versions are a bit more rough - just like they all come with 3 different versions of each lowercase letter!

Cleveden was inspired by some lettering sighted on a neglected and somewhat tarnished brass plaque, affixed to an elderly office building. The elegance and character (somehow playful and formal at the same time) of the letterforms shone through the tarnished state of the plaque. As an aside the brass plaque in question was on the former business premises of a long established firm of accountants. We suspect the ethics of that profession would preclude us identifying which one. Our efforts to identify their engraver have proven unavailing. Cleveden is a family of four typefaces, Regular, Bold, Capitals and Capitals Bold. They are ideal for designs that call for distinctive formality and especially lend themselves to signage, certificates, and -dare it be said- engraved plaques!

Chonky is a bold script font based on English calligraphy but with touches of the vitality that the commercial lettering of 1950s had, and it is mostly inspired in the work of the master Doyald Young and his lessons. Its rounded terminals, friendly look and heavy weight make Chonky a perfect option for advertising, packaging and visual identities. In the Regular font, the ascenders, descenders and capitals are the shorter they could be; while in Poster, they are larger, in order to achieve more graceful forms. Creeps is based on a series of drawings by Britton Walters. You can't escape the Creeps, they are everywhere! Be they looking at you funny on the bus or telling you about their collection of chicken bones in the break room at work. There is a little creep in us all.
