  3. Rondana by Sudtipos, $39.00
Crafted in the best tradition of the geometric sans-serif, Rondana is a typographic tribute to the the retro-futuristic aesthetics of the 1960s and 70s, as well as an exercise in purity of line. However, its spirit is decidedly non-bauhausian, since its strokes intentionally deviate from the dull, obvious, ruler-and-compass construction; its arcs and curves being much more complex, tending towards a slightly square shape, imbued with subtle modulations. This sums up to a more organic, flowing, extroverted personality than the one just expected from the use of plain, simple geometry. Another feature is the conscious use of non-standard shapes for many signs, that are quite legible but somewhat unexpected, such as the E, the g and the ampersand; making Rondana an excellent display face and also giving a particular flavor to the text composed in it, especially in its italic variants —which are, by the way, designer italics in their own right and not just an oblique version of the roman. Rondana comes in twelve variants comprising a wide spectrum of weights, allowing for an extremely diverse range of expression.

  5. Blood Orange by Fenotype, $25.00
If you need to say something weighty, say it with Blood Orange. Blood Orange is a hearty rounded serif font with an easygoing confidence and a delightful nostalgic feeling, without the dusty burden of actual fonts from the last century. Blood Orange works great as a logotype, in magazines, headlines, posters, advertising and packaging. It’s at its best in short sentences since it’s so bold, but can be used for a bit longer text passages too, with some spacing added. As a product of modern era, Blood Orange is fully equipped with plenty of OpenType goodness: Contextual Alternates and Standard Ligatures do their usual trick in smoothing certain letter combinations, and they’re automatically on. In addition it has a wide range of Discretionary Ligatures, Stylistic, Swash and Titling Alternates that you can trigger on from OpenType controls in any OpenType savvy program, or manually select the suitable variations from the character window. Try these alternates for more eloquent designs, but remember to treat them like you would treat you would treat really strong spices: just a bit at a time. See the full range of the alternative glyphs on the specimen posters.
  6. FHA Eccentric French by The Fontry, $25.00
The curves are vintage and the serifs are big. They're so big that for years I never had the courage to tackle this intimidating font. But when fellow signmaker Frank Smith laid the groundwork for this intriguing typeface by Frank H. Atkinson, I couldn't pass on the opportunity to take it from paper to keyboard. After all, at over 100 years old, I felt this alphabet had never been given a proper, digital treatment. So how did this face survive the last century? Well, for those who don't know the history, it survived in Atkinson's ubiquitous book, Sign Painting, published first in 1908, the generational standard for anyone interested in sign-related type design. The layouts and lettering treatments in this book have influenced countless designers for more than a hundred years, but most haunting to me was this strange face with the big serifs. Well, I'm haunted no more. The work is done, the kerning is complete, and nothing but a mouse-click separates a very old idea from the modern world. It's wide, it's big, and with those crazy serifs, it is definitely eccentric-!!!
  7. King Tut by Canada Type, $24.95
King Tut is a restoration and expansion of the original Egyptian Expanded, a single bold face cut in 1850 by Miller & Richard, the famous Edinburgh founders. This aesthetic, though originally issued to help drive simple print advertising of those days, is perhaps the longest lasting genre of typeface. This aesthetic flourished in the later part of the 19th century, helped by the surge of similar faces from England (such as Figgins' Antique 6 and Expanded Antique), and became the defining index of the old American wild west that continues to this very day. King Tut serves up its impact through a balance between the wide, compact letterforms and elegant curvature that manages to come through even in confined areas. The family's weight variety allows for more options in counterspace use as well as precision in the amount of curve definition and contrast needed by the typographer. The lighter weights completely oppose that 19th century boldness and expose the alphabet's skeleton in a strive for simplicity that fits modern applications. With generous language support to boot, King Tut's diverse offerings make it an essential addition to today's designer repertoire.

  10. Petale by LomoHiber, $15.00
Petale is my new elegant experimental typeface I'd love to present. At the beginning, I was intended to create a bold wide font, I started sketching options and came out with the letter 'M' design first. I thought it may be interesting and had continued developing the style with letters N, O, etc., spending hours on some letters to match the design and my vision. I liked how it looked (especially digits) and added different weighs. And it came out pretty stylish. You may like it to use in magazine designs, posters, websites, packaging, branding, logo, and so on. Petale can grant your work some graceful modern touch with a brutalist-feminine note. Works well with elegant and strict serif fonts. Also try to experiment with script fonts. I used my Stormy Youth font: https://www.myfonts.com/fonts/lomohiber/stormy-youth and Bodoni 72 Smallcaps If you have some issues or questions, please let me know: lhfonts@gmail.com Hope you'll enjoy using Petale! Language support: Afrikaans, Albanian, Bulgarian, Catalan, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Icelandic, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian (Русский), Slovak, Slovenian, Spanisch, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian (Украинский), Zulu
  11. Old Thunder by FontMesa, $25.00
Old Thunder is a revival of an 1800’s Tuscan style font called Lavinia, we've expanded the original font to include a lowercase, an Open faced version, a very attractive Black face and last this set just wouldn't be complete without a Fill font. When you see the word Fill in a fonts name this describes its purpose which means the font is intended to be used for filling in the open space of its parent font or the Open faced shadowed version from that font family or group. Some Fill fonts look as if they may be used as stand alone fonts but others simply do not look good used as a plain font. The Fill font for Old Thunder was designed to work as both a fill and a regular font, although when used as a regular font the letter spacing will appear a little wide. If needed the spacing can be adjusted in some applications font settings, check the help file in your application for further information on spacing. You will need an application that allows layering of your fonts in order to take advantage of FontMesa Fill fonts.

  24. Warhol by Andinistas, $34.00
Warhol is a font family designed by Carlos Fabian Camargo. Its 3 fonts work in groups or independent. His carefree soul lies in the sensibility, creativity and abstract motivations listening to the album: The Velvet Underground & Nico released in 1967. Preparations for his typographic design were illustrated by imagining extravagant, fascinating and hard-to-resist ideas, That is why his brushstrokes of the alphabet were born of irregularity, with naive character and expressive drawing, notable with the discordance and instability of drawing by Andy Warhol, infiltrated with pop folk art and artisan harmony. Warhol is a font family offers uppercase, lowercase and numbers that work at the beginning, middle or end of words, achieving calligraphic expressiveness. In that order of ideas Warhol font family offers the following vantages: • Warhol Script (694 glyphs): handwritten letters drawn with a thin-thickness tool, simulating interesting imperfections in their contours and connections. * Warhol Script Bold (694 glyphs): Thick letters that appear to be drawn with a brush of inflated and irregular thickness • Warhol Extras (140 glyphs): Words with letters written with pen, highlighting meaningful criteria that function as perfect companions between words designed in Warhol Script and Bold.

  26. Ongunkan Ogham by Runic World Tamgacı, $50.00
This font is a latin based version of the ogham alphabet used in the writing of the old irish language. It can be used on Latin keyboards. I will make a unicode font version of this font in the future. Ogham (/ˈɒɡəm/ OG-əm, Modern Irish: [ˈoː(ə)mˠ]; Middle Irish: ogum, ogom, later ogam [ˈɔɣəmˠ] is an Early Medieval alphabet used primarily to write the early Irish language (in the "orthodox" inscriptions, 4th to 6th centuries CE), and later the Old Irish language (scholastic ogham, 6th to 9th centuries). There are roughly 400 surviving orthodox inscriptions on stone monuments throughout Ireland and western Britain, the bulk of which are in southern Munster. The largest number outside Ireland are in Pembrokeshire, Wales. The vast majority of the inscriptions consist of personal names. According to the High Medieval Bríatharogam, the names of various trees can be ascribed to individual letters. For this reason, ogam is sometimes known as the Celtic tree alphabet. The etymology of the word ogam or ogham remains unclear. One possible origin is from the Irish og-úaim 'point-seam', referring to the seam made by the point of a sharp weapon.

Rodia is an Oddball Geometric Sans Typeface consisting of nine weights in both roman and oblique. It’s a geometric sans with a twist that’s perfect for branding and identity projects – it will also give your body text a unique voice. With its distinctive leg, the /R/ provides a personality trait to define the style of the character set. You can clearly see how this characteristic separates Rodia from other geometric sans families – the /k/v/w/x/y/K/R/V/W/X/Y/ glyphs all display the distinctive ‘feet’ and ‘hands’ as terminals to legs and arms. Then there is the /A/ with its triangular crossbar – this triangular motif has been used to embellish alternates in Stylistic Set 1 for /A/E/F/G/H/Q/S/ glyphs. These will add another layer of versatility for your typographic projects. Rodia features an extensive character set covering all Latin European languages. Consisting of 3 axes; weight, optical size, and serif, that will give you a different experience extending the family of BD Gitalona. We don't want to mention how many families can be generated from this variable font. During the development process, we got up to more than 50 families and stopped to allow you to continue to play with the slide buttons. And again, BD Gitalona is filled with an explorative and experimental decorative version that we present separately. Figure out the decorative version BD Gitalona Moxa to make the aesthetic appeal of this whole typeface here! Inspiration The world of entertainment moves non-stop. One by one, figures appeared and left. We expect to create something to entertain previous trends with packaging more relevant to the present. More specifically, we admire and are inspired by some of the world's leading and top singers with a segmented nature. We imagine so many figures that can affect every viewer. However, each artist or singer has a segment because almost all of them have characteristics. The Design The basic design of this typeface begins with a transitional serif shape with sharp, shapeless corners. Then in the middle of the invention, there was an opportunity to explore it further from the readability side by adding an optical variable that can adjust the serif thickness when used together between large, medium to paragraph text sizes for editorials. The shift from serif to sans-serif with the contrast initiated by the shift of the serif family form as a different variable also makes this font richer in terms of the features it contains. Parts are expected to add to the user satisfaction with the complexity of this font. The Features BD Gitalona consists of one sub-family intended for body text with nine weights from Thin(100) to Black(900) and four other display sub-families such as Display serif, Flick, Harmony Sans and Contrast Sans. Each consists of four weights Thin(100), Regular Weight(400), Bold(700), and Black(900). And again, there are also retailed separately; the BD Gitalona Variable font, which is designed to accommodate all Subfamily in 1 font file, and BD Gitalona Moxa, an experimental typeface. A total of 700+ glyphs in each style. Advanced OpenType features functionally and aesthetically, such as Case-sensitive forms, small caps, standard and discretionary ligatures, stylistic alternates, ordinals, fractions, numerator, denominator, superscript, subscript, circled number, slashed zero, old-style figure, tabular and lining figure.
