Sitting in a diner and looking upon a wall full of nostalgia, there hangs a picture of another older diner in some Northern city. The lettering from it's rooftop sign almost screams "Make a font out of this!"... so Jeff Levine did... "Hash and Beans JNL".

The design of type Meeneralca 4F was inspired by the logo of the mineral water Borjomi from Georgia. The word "Meeneralca" is the short (slang) version for "mineral water".

Do It Yourself JNL was modeled after self-adhesive vinyl letters and numbers manufactured by Duro Art Industries of Chicago - formerly the Duro Decal Company. The hand-drawn look of the original lettering was retained by Jeff Levine to stay true to the design, and the rectangles that border each glyph represent the pieces of self-adhesive vinyl onto which the characters were silk screened. Limited character set.

Shrag script is a brand new script from Open Window. It is finer than the model that won 35,00 friends. Originating from a fat marker drawing it's a comfortable font, fine performing in every minor detail. It is the embodiment of everything a fine handwritten script should be.

Tiger Rag is the work of English calligrapher John Viner, who was inspired by Japanese calligraphy when creating this dramatic, informal typeface. The font is extensive and flexible, with many alternate characters. Tiger Rag is an excellent choice for casual display typography which should produce a fresh, random effect.

Famosa was designed by Anita Jürgeleit. Its lively and handmade character makes for a charming image for an unmistakably elegant typography. Seven styles, old-style figures, and special ligatures serve as titles and headlines about the finer things in life.

Vinetters has letters on the alternating leaves of a vine. It is monospaced and uses the OpenType contextual alternatives (calt) feature to alternate leaves as the vine snakes its way across the page, putting leaves with the base down between leaves with the base up. The family has two styles, one with transparent leaves and the other with solid leaves, and these two styles can be used in layers to add color. The family has a large set of accented characters but omits some symbols that are used primarily in technical text. Spaces between words can be left blank or filled with connecting vine using the brackets, trademark-infinity, doubledagger-summation, radical-approximatelyequal, or fi-fl characters. The characters on the leaves are derived from the typeface IngrianaCasual. Alonquin is a typographical tribute to Dorothy Parker and the New Yorker crowd who haunted the Alonquin hotel in its 1920s heyday, sharing scintillating one-liners over sparkling cocktails. Deco and decadent, it aims to recapture the spirit of the age (mostly gin from what I can make out!)
