Argonautica is based on a relict of the future that was left on earth by time-travelling extra-terrestrials. In 1947, an UFO crashed in the New Mexico desert. There were unknown glyphs found on the spaceship which couldn�t be deciphered to date. Based on one of the unknown glyphs, Gabriele Lindemann developed a complete alphabet readable for human beings. Argonautica is particularly suited for colored typography and can be read much better with growing distance.

FF Bauer Grotesk is a revival of the metal type Friedrich Bauer Grotesk, released between 1933 and 1934 by the foundry Trennert & Sohn in Hamburg Altona, Germany. The geometric construction of the typeface, infused with the art déco zeitgeist of that era, is closely related to such famous German designs as Futura, Erbar, Kabel and Super Grotesk that debuted a few years earlier. However, Bauer Grotesk stands out for not being so dogmatic with the geometry, lending the design a warmer, more homogenous feeling. The oval “O” is a good example of that, as well as characteristic shapes like the capital M or the unconventionally differing endings of “c” and “s” which make for a less constructed look. Arquitecta Standard. The humanist typography as a rational project. Since the experimentation from the Bauhaus through modern sans history we looked for a new mix to construct a rational geometric typeface with humanist proportions suitable for text layout and continuous reading. Inspired by American & European hand lettering from the first half of the past century, Arquitecta finds his own space as a great alternative for paragraphs in front of classics like Futura, Kabel or Avant Garde. The family contains 8 upright romans and 8 italics with the following features: - European accents. - Ink traps to avoid press impressing spots & hinting optimized. - Small X-height with accentuated ascenders and descenders. Gabriel Sans is a font family inspired by the original Sans Serif fonts of the Transitional age like Futura and Grotesk, but with a modern twist. It is clean, elegant and straight-to-the-point. A 1922 piece of sheet music entitled “Japanese Sailor” had its title hand lettered in a Far Eastern motif. This design is now available as Sea of Japan JNL, in both regular and oblique versions.

A 1963 image of the New View Theater in Los Angeles with its marquee’s Art Deco neon lettering was the inspiration for Silver Screen Deco JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Based on one of the many hand lettered typefaces found with in the 1960 edition of Sam Welo’s “Studio Handbook for Artists and Advertisers”, Poster Slabserif JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Desk Job JNL is an Art Deco-influenced typeface based on hand lettering found on the packaging of a vintage Hotchkiss No. 52 stapling pliers. The typeface is available in both regular and oblique versions.

A German travel poster from 1927 became the design inspiration for a type revival because of its pleasantly hand lettered sans serif type style. Euro Travel JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

The Art Deco design of Riverside JNL was based on the hand lettered title found on the 1932 sheet music for "By the River Sainte Marie", and is available in both regular and oblique versions.

With a rounded shape and a burlap texture, what else could we call this font? Circus Peanut is oblique and comes equipped with its own drop shadow. It's meant to be used at large sizes.

The hand lettered title on the cover of the 1914 tune “I Want you to Meet My Mother” served as the inspiration for Nouveau Date JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Deco Edition JNL gets its inspiration from the hand lettered title of a 1943 anthology of musical compositions for schools entitled "Junior Laurel Songs - Teacher's Edition", and is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Within the pages of the 10th edition of the Speedball Lettering Book (1927) is an alphabet called “Vanitie”. This had been redrawn digitally as Merriment JNL, and is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Bases Loaded JNL is a contour outline variant of Ebbets JNL, which was in turn a stylized variant of the retro-inspired Base Runner JNL. The design is available in both regular and oblique versions.

The free form hand lettering comprising the titles and credits for the 1966 romantic comedy “The Glass Bottom Boat” were the model for Sightseeing Boat JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

A poster for the 1917 Charlie Chaplin comedy “Easy Street” had Chaplin’s name hand lettered in thick, round cornered block characters. This inspired Silent Comedy JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Hand lettered production credits for the1930 film “Holiday” inspired the digital type revival Summer Holiday JNL; available in both regular and oblique versions. An Art Nouveau influence is reflected in this pleasant, casual serif typeface.

The 1963 German release poster for "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?" features a creepy, sinister, hand-lettered type design that became the model for Creepy Events JNL, available in both regular and oblique versions.

Cover Art JNL was inspired by the hand-lettered sans serif title of an Art Deco era Portuguese magazine called Ilustraçáo. The mix of conventional and non-conventional letter forms made it a perfect candidate to turn into a digital font.

Figaro is a very condensed slab serif design of the kind associated with nineteenth century advertising. The Figaro font has considerable weight contrast in the strokes, with a marked weight emphasis on the horizontal elements, including the serifs. Use the Figaro font for display and advertising and for 'Wild West' style posters.

Subtitle is a handdrawn slab serif that contains condensed and wide width capital letters in one font. With slightly wobbly lines, Subtitle is designed to be legible at a variety of sizes to give that quirky, fun feel to any informal occasion or brand. Central, Eastern and Western European language support included.

Morris Fuller Benton's 1935 offering from ATF, entitled Raleigh Gothic Condensed, inspired this ultracompact masterpiece. Both versions of this font include the complete Latin 1252, Central European 1250 and Turkish 1254 character sets.

Airbuzz is a typeface created by Spinefonts in Warsaw, Poland. The idea was to create something between grotesk and 'lcd' typefaces; something which is strong and condensed. Airbuzz looks best in large sizes (30+ pts). You may find it useful for posters, titling, infographics, signage and corporate identity. Airbuzz features only uppercase characters.
