Zemestro from 2003 was one of the first of the new “squarish sans-serifs”. Its designer David Farey says: “There’s nothing calligraphic about it, and there are no defining or identifiable single characters – it’s just clean and simply constructed.”

Randolph is a popular font family from Jukebox done in an old fashioned copperplate etching style that harkens back to the days of old leather-bound shop ledgers and hand painted window signs. Hickory is the revival of an old unnamed font dating back to 1852 and was sold through a few different type foundries including Bruce, MacKellar Smiths & Jordan and James Conner's Sons. By the year 1900 this font disappeared from the major type foundries, now with the digital age of type we're proud to revive this old classic font that hasn't been used in over one hundred years. The original font was only available as an uppercase with punctuation and an ampersand. Today the character set has been updated to include a new lowercase, numbers and accented characters for Eastern, Central and Western European countries. Three fill fonts have been created for the Hickory font making it easier for you to add different colors, textures and patterns to the letters. You will need an application that works in layers such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator in order to use the fill fonts, some fill fonts may look good as a stand alone font, the Hickory fill fonts however do not look good used apart from the Hickory main font. Saturnight Regular is a proportional and kerned typeface. The name is a variation of Saturnight, which is itself the anagram of Unstraight. This is because vertical lines are Unstraight sticks. It's a consequence of the Design rule * Glyphs are built from segments on a triangular tessellation (cf. poster 1) Note 1: Unstraight lines depend from the chosen tesselation orientation (here the tesselation has horizontal lines and thus Unstraight verticals). Note 2: The encoding is Windows Latin 'ANSI', which includes Icelandic characters (as illustrated by poster 3).

Wood Type Calendar JNL is a set of components for making monthly calendar pages. Based on a set of vintage wood type numbers, the dates 1 through 31 are found on the "A-Z" and "a-e" keys; the 23/30 and 24/31 ligatures are on the "f" and "g" keys. On the "h" and "i" keys are blank outline and solid blocks for balancing the calendar layout. The "j" through "u" keys have the names of the months, and the "1" through "7" keys contain the days of the week.
