Coronard is another of Greater Albion's explorations of 'Evolutionary' type. In this case we imagine a transition from Blackletter to Roman forms. Coronard shows that posited transition in all its simple calligraphic splendor, providing a beautifully legible face for invitations and certificates, as well as for lettering and signage that needs to be readable but to have a gothic flair.

Energia Pro is yet another new, charming and whimsical profonts script typeface designed by Ralph M. Unger. Its design is based on Arno Drescher’s Energos from 1932, but Unger completely redesigned the typeface, extended and completed the character set and digitally remastered the font. Energia Pro is a joining handwritten-like script well suited for comics, book titles, and the like. Standard at profonts, Energia Pro contains a large set of manually created ligatures and glyph variants to make it a perfect OpenType Pro connecting script.

Ornes is inspired by the runic alphabet with ornamentation based on the woodcarvings of the Urnes Stave Church (Norway), an old wooden church from approximately 1150 CE. The woodcarvings and their symbolism reach back to the pre-Christian era. The Ornes Pro styles each contain the runic alphabet, ornamented caps, small caps, ornamented small caps and other pro OpenType features (as shown on the "Pro" tab). Ornes Ornamented Rustic Pro features a subtle uneven lowercase, but does not include a set of regular uppercase characters.

Rosso is a condensed geometric Sans with a retro style, inspired by various typographic styles. It features the Roslyn Gothic structure, which was popularly used for the covers of Philip K. Dick's books in the 1970s. Rosso has 10 variants from Ultra Light to Black with their respective Italics. In addition, it is divided into two Subfamilies, Normal and Alt. The normal one remains faithful to the proportions of Roslyn Gothic and classic geometric fonts, while the Alternative version expands its round shapes, generating a striking and unique rhythm and contrast, classic of Art Deco fonts. In addition, it has alternative glyphs and discretionary ligatures inspired by the work of Herb Lubalin, which add greater possibilities to face any design project. Dignus was inspired in two clever and famous typefaces: Bank Gothic and Microgramma. Bank Gothic designed by Morris Fuller Benton for ATF in 1930. Microgramma typeface designed by Alessandro Butti and Aldo Novarese for Nebiolo in 1952. Those typefaces were based on a stable rectangular shape with rounded corners, denoting the constructivist heritage and technological spirit of '50. We'd intended to review that typographic scenery with our contemporary point of view, aiming to obtain the formal synthesis of the signs and increase its legibility. Dignus fonts support Central, Eastern and Western European languages. Each font comes with full OpenType features like: standard and discretional ligatures, swashes, stylistic alternates, old style numerals, Tabular figures, numerators, denominators, scientific superior - inferiors, Case sensitive forms and vectors. From Weimar to København/Copenhagen, picking up some decadent traits on its journey. The design of Copenhagen Grotesk is inspired by the great German grotesque type design history, although it will not fall into ranks in all aspects. Indeed, Copenhagen Grotesk will not be put into one single time pocket of style, so you'll notice that there's a hint of art deco style in its capital letters. The visual expression is first and foremost firmly rooted in the style of Scandinavian design, so feel free to use Copenhagen Grotesk for functional typographic design in relation to multiple media types.

Fette Gotisch font is an interpretation of Gothic scripts in the style of the 19th century. During this time, the individualistics handwritings of the past were used to create and define new broken letter forms. This style has heavily influenced the designs of the majority of today's broken letter fonts. The strong appearance of Fette Gotisch made it popular as a typeface for emphasizing text.

Simeon's Handwritten Blackletter is the result of my desire to have my handwritten old English style writing available for my computer. It is a basic Gothic style font with my own touch to the lettering. Simeon's Handwritten Blackletter comes with full punctuation, a character set for most Western European based Latin alphabet languages. Being a decorative font, it works best at larger point sizes.

Codex was designed by Georg Trump and introduced by the font foundry C.E. Weber in 1954. Based on the German Gothic script of the 13th century, this font has the character of handwriting. Its capital letters are extremely big in comparison with the lower case, hence good for contrast in short text, however, this characteristic makes the font better suited to languages which use fewer capital letters.

Two typefaces from the 1923 Barnhart Brothers & Spindler specimen book have been combined to produce this gem. Swagger Capitals, designed by Carl S. Junge, for the uppercase and Gothic Novelty Title for the lowercase. Named for a lively dance from the nineteenth century. Both versions of this font contain the Unicode 1252 Latin and Unicode 1250 Central European character sets, with localization for Romanian and Moldovan.

Grace was designed by Elisabeth Megnet and appeared with Linotype in 1992. The font is a part of the package Calligraphy for Print, which also contains Ruling Script and Wiesbaden Swing. Calligraphy for Print 2 completes the set. These packages offer modern calligraphy fonts particularly well-suited to use in posters, magazines and advertisements. The basic style of Grace is based on the Gothic miniscule of the 13th century. It represents a modern philosophy held by Andre Guertler, Professor of Typography in Basel with whom Megnet once studied. With this philosophy, calligraphy is not to be seen as a decorative art, and fonts created according to this tenet have far fewer ornamental strokes. They are eccentric, drawn out and almost bulky. Like Gothic forms, one of the predecessors of this font, Grace gives vertical lines a particular emphasis. Originally commissioned in 1979 as a new corporate typeface for Volkswagen AG, the VAG Rounded™ family’s geometric sans letterforms feature distinct rounded terminals, imparting the design with a friendly, approachable demeanor. The engraver’s sans serif—strikingly similar to drafting alphabets of the early 1900s—has been one of the most widely used stationer’s lettering styles since about 1900. Its open, simple forms offer legibility at very small sizes. Biographer is a mild upright script drawn by Angel Koziupa, with Alejandro Paul art directing and producing. Elegant but quite reminiscent of roman forms and proportions, Biographer keeps the calligraphy mostly toned down, but its ascenders and descenders occasionally flare out in final swashy confidence. As usual with Sudtipos fonts, alternates are plenty and the personal touch is never amiss. Biographer is great for women's lit and poetry book covers, as well as tame packaging of products where conveying comfort and peace of mind is of importance.
