I’m pleased to introduce my handwritten ink font Deja Vu. Deja Vu comes in two styles: Ink and Clean. Deja Vu Ink is a splatter ink font. Each uppercase and lowercase letter has unique ink splashes. This decorative style is perfect for logotypes, branding projects, tattoo, packaging, social media, signatures, headers and many more. Deja Vu Clean is an elegant feminine script font. Use this modern font for invitations, cards, packaging, social media, signatures, quotes, magazines and more. You can use it for long texts or short phrases. Say hello to Marshmallow Hot Chocolate Brush - A super-casual, super-versatile all caps brush font. Great at both Small and large sizes : Fine texture details on its edges make it pop at larger sizes, and at smaller sizes its stays crisp, neatly balanced and nicely legible. Perfect for making a statement - use it in quotes, punchy headers, posters, flyer design, packaging, in your illustrations that need legible handwritten captions - and so much more. Although Marshmallow Hot Chocolate is an all caps font, you will find uppercase and lowercase keystrokes have alternate characters. Opentype Ligatures are included to make it look more naturally handwritten in your designs. Four extra swashes are included in the glyphs set - open your glyphs panel to access them. Play with the letter spacing to get different looks and effects.

Morning’s spirited, bouncy cursive letterforms feel like a painter’s signature; it’s a familiar style but with something of a twinkle in its eye. The style of Morning looks to imitate wet brush and ink lettering, and dances between seriousness and play. You’ll find a mix of letter connections here, and some ligatures, too.

Influenced by Blackletter type and highway fonts, the Nettle Sans font family sets out to be both a quirky and confident headline font (at the heavier weights), and an easily legible body font for print or screen (at the lighter weights). Careful attention was taken in choosing distinct shapes for each letter to maximise legibility, and to balance a daring experimental form with function. Through its brutal angled cuts out of the ends of tapered links, ink-traps, ascenders and descenders, Nettle Sans' defining motif offers a visual language that communicates speed, efficiency, advancement and the "cutting edge".

David Berlow drew Romeo Medium Condensed during winter of 1990, basing the design on the Estrecha Fina weight of Electra, a spectacular art deco sanserif with an unusually fine condensed series. Carlos Winkow designed it circa 1940 for the Nacional typefoundry of Madrid, the leading typefoundry in Spain. “So-called Baskerville Old Face of the type foundry Stephenson Blake & Co. of Sheffield. The Script is probably not immediately linked to Baskerville, but it is very much influenced by it. It is one of the most beautiful types of which the mats still exist; it has an incomparably different spirit than the ‘streamlined’ re-cuts of today’s Baskerville. Even keeping the general restraint extremely expressive. According to Berthold Wolpe (‘Signatures’ No. 18), the punches were cut and shown in samples in 1776 by Isaac Moore, who came from Birmingham to Bristol.” – Jan Tschichold, “Meisterbuch der Schrift”, Notes On The Plates, Page 231 Publisher note: I wanted to improve the contrast between thick and thin, reduce some ink-traps and give stems, serifs and links a smoother overall feel. I have also added some alternative letters and old style numerals.

The typeface was designed after seeing a photocopy of some News Gothic text where the ink had faded on the bottom of each character. As character recognition is generally based on the top half of a character, readability was never compromised. Rather like Antique Olive the characters have a top heavy look when viewed straight on, however, as most type is read at an angle with the top further away than the bottom this top heavy look is diminished.

Ice Cream is the product of an abandoned typeface concept a non-connected script for food packaging. The original exemplars were so iconic, so inspiring, it demanded completion. Curvy with a huge dollop of fun, to be honest, and I wouldn’t have it any other way with this one. Influenced heavily by Kari and Juicy (and even the shameless copies of my originals, wink wink), Ice Cream’s recipe blends in some very simple elements that are unobtrusive and clean, perfect for packaging designs, children’s books, and anywhere a light-hearted scoop with a cherry on top is needed.
