We had a dozen or so letters of this of this, picked up at the flea market in Vienna. The rest came from our imagination.

Circus Minimus Pulex typeface honours the memory of gone flea circus veterans. The icons present the little artists and their equipment to the great public.

Minora is a contemporary sans serif type family of three weights. Glyphs with open, plain and reduced forms are attributes of Minora. Several OpenType features allow different figure sets, fractions and more. Minora had its beginning in 2007 during Alex Meier’s Typedesign study (CAS Typedesign) at the ZHdK in Zurich (Switzerland). After graduation, Alex Meier continued working on this project in a shared studio with his former fellow student Dominique Kerber . He completed this fully developed font in April 2011.

Mayblossom was named after an old French fairytale (The Princess Mayblossom),which is quite similar to the tale of Sleeping Beauty. Mayblossom font is a fairytale font. It was made with a magic wand (with a Unicorn hair core) onto centuries old parchment. The font was then blessed by 12 lovely fairies. Of course, I had the evil thirteenth one kidnapped before she could cast her spell. In other words, if your work requires a certain lightness, a pinch of fairy dust and a sprinkling of magic, then Mayblossom is your best pick.

Forbes consists of one bold weight and is an alphabet in the style of the bold English slab serifs, as made evident by its flexed serifs. This style first made its appearance in the 19th century. It was used at first only on posters but later became available in smaller point sizes and was then be used for titling and headlines. With its robust figures, Forbes should be used exclusively for these applications in middle and large point sizes.

Racetrack is the work of American type designer, Alex Kaczun, and was conceived as a result of developing a logo for a client. Alex was experimenting with a uniform grid pattern, outline and inline, connecting the dots which lead to this interesting typeface effect. Racetrack is a bold display font, which also works well at many point sizes. It has a futuristic appeal with straight lines and sharp corners. The uniform strokes, inline treatment and symmetry make for a powerful headline. The applications for this font design are endless.

Foundry Plek and Foundry Flek are created on the same dot matrix grid system. Each family includes: light, regular, medium and bold weights – with a selection of dot patterns that can extend the grid vertically and horizontally. The underlying matrix common to each weight allows experimentation with overlays, and mixing weights produces varying effects. Foundry Plek used conventionally works well for serious correspondence, with a 'typewriter font' effect. Foundry Flek has an integral dot matrix grid as a background. With these two fonts a whole new graphic language can be explored.

Excritura is the third typeface created by the Spanish designer Alex Camacho. The robust personality of this original calligraphy-derived italic font will undoubtedly also win you over.Organic shapes determine the character of Excritura, a calligraphic typeface by Alex Camacho. The font has been modelled on the work of the Spanish Architect Antoni Gaudí and was inspired by his love of natural forms and craftsmanship. This is perhaps unsurprising in view of the fact that Camacho grew up in Barcelona, home to much of Gaudí’s creative oeuvre. Organic shapes determine the character of Excritura, a calligraphic typeface by Alex Camacho. This font is reminiscent of the Middle Ages texture fonts. But geometric shapes make it more modern. It will work well in large and short inscriptions. The large array of text readability is reduced due to the characteristic rhythm of the font. It has the standard ligatures and ligature to failed pairs. There are two sets of numbers: the proportional and the Old style.

‘Scion’ is an original design by Alex Kaczun. The inspiration for the typeface came from the Toyota SCION logo, which bears its name. In Alex’s own words, "I loved the simplicity, proportions and hi-tech look of the logo and decided to create an entire new design series based on its unique look". The fonts come in five flavors: thin, light, regular, bold and black. All the font weights were designed systematically on tabular widths so that the user can make adjustments to overall type color without changing the line length. In addition, Alex Kaczun has provided us with several alternate glyph substitions to further enhance the overall appeal of this contemporary new design. The large Pro font character set, which supports most Central European and many Eastern European languages, makes this typeface series ideally suited for display copy as well as text composition. In the near future, Alex plans to include a narrow, compressed and ultra expanded, along with true-drawn italic variations to further expand the possibilities of this great new display series.

Mister Twiggs is a comtemporary modern sans created by the American type designer Alex Kaczun. There are absolutely no curves in this elegant typeface. It has sharp corners with extra tall capitals and a narrow waistline. Mister Twiggs comes in 3 flavors: regular, thin and heavy.

‘My Darling’ is a stunning new typeface by Alex Kaczun. Inspired by the Didone shapes, ‘My Darling’ incorporates some Didot, a little Caslon, a splash of Scotch and a pinch of old Times. This unique display, with its high-contrast strokes is playful, formal and just a bit ‘sexy’. The swash capital terminals and lively curves, give this design a unique and distinctive look. It works well as a headline font, and because it was designed with generous counters, proportions and spacing—works equally well over a large range of text point sizes. Slab Compact JNL was based on the printed title found on the box cover of a 1950s-era word games set called “Lex-O-Grams” and is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Fun, footloose and fancy free, Castaway is a font family that knows no boundaries: equally at home in Naples and Nairobi, Rimini and Rio, Tijuana and Timbuktu. New Age Gothic is an original design by Alex Kaczun. It is a contemporary gothic design based on generous proportions and clean crisp lines. Ideally suited for easy reading and long lines of copy. The concept for the design came from a previously successful font family Contax Pro. Alex felt that the skeleton for Contax Pro was ideally suited to modify the design into a true gothic companion typeface series. Numerous modifications where made to the body proportions, stems and shapes. Serifs where added reminiscent to Copperplate Gothic to solidify the overall design. The result is a truly unique modern gothic font. Unlike other typefaces, New Age Gothic incorporates uniform stems throughout the capitals, lower case and figures. This gives the design a uniform appearance in overall color and strength. There is a perfect visual balance between inter-letter spacing, stem weights and proportions. The large Pro font character set, which supports most Central European and many Eastern European languages, also include small caps to compliment the old style figures. As a result, the design is ideally suited for display copy as well as text composition. In the near future, Alex plans to expand the typeface to include a broad range of weights along with italics.

Sheet music for the 1939 Hoagy Carmichael composition "Hong Kong Blues" features the Far East-influenced hand lettered title that was the basis for Asian Imports JNL; available in both regular and oblique versions. Carmichael performed the song in the 1944 Warner Brothers film "To Have and Have Not", (which first paired Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall). The sheet music was a reissue to capitalize on the song's use in the film.
