Fargo Tuscan is the first of seven typefaces exploring the decorative possibilities of the Tuscan letter form, all of which are releasing in 2017. It’s the most European of the seven- it’s a Mid-Victorian inspired display face which would have been (and is) at home on either side of the Atlantic, unlike some of the others in this batch of Tuscan faces which are distinctly ‘trans-Atlantic’ (we know, that depends on your point of view but we are Greater ALBION Typefounders after all) in flavour. Argone LC is a handmade organic typeface family. It is a variant of Argone typeface, but has lower case letters. It comes in four weights– light, regular, bold and black, which is a feature not seen much in handmade typefaces. This makes Argone LC a versatile and flexible type family. Cargo TRF is a revision of existing Cargo typeface dated 2001. The new version of Cargo consists of three styles—A (plain), B (punch-out holes) and C (screw heads). Cargo TRF is recommended for use in big sizes as a display typeface. It is available in OpenType format with Western CP1252 character set.

The Mule is a very special mix – it has a donkey father and horse mother, and they often inherit the best qualities of both. "The mule is an example of hybrid vigor, Charles Darwin wrote: The mule always appears to me a most surprising animal. That a hybrid should possess more reason, memory, obstinacy, social affection, powers of muscular endurance, and length of life, than either of its parents, seems to indicate that art has here outdone nature." They are typically very strong for their size compared to horses and are able to cope with bad weather better than donkeys. Mules rarely become ill and their behavior is Intelligent and sensitive. In the right home, they can make great companions for other equines, and wonderful pets. However, if they are unhandled or not correctly trained, mules have the potential to be dangerous. The inner shapes of Mule Cargo are almost identical between the Regular and the Heavy weight. This shared genom make them very powerful pair and a useful design tool for display purposes.

The typefaces Largo Mager (Light) and Largo Halbfett (Medium) were cast for the first time in 1937 by Ludwig & Mayer based on the designs by Hans Wagner. One weight Largo Licht (Outline) was added in 1956. All fonts were only configured with capitals. The digital version of Largo has pointed serifs and not the slightly rounded ones seen in the hot metal versions which gives the typeface a more elegant note. Largo is often used for fine printing jobs as business cards or formal invitations, or in the fashion and cosmetics fields. Hans Wagner was born in Munich in 1894 and died in 1977 in Altenburg where he had worked as a painter, graphic designer and book designer. In addition to the Largo typeface, he developed, among others, the Altenburger Gotisch (1928), the Welt-Antiqua (1931-1934) and the Wolfram (1930).
