I used to be able to sketch headlines in Franklin Gothic, Times, Futura, Helvetica and several scripts. We had a kind of huge inverted camera – which we called Lucy. We projected the alphabet onto a sheet of transparent paper, outlined the letters with a fineliner and then filled them in. It was very tedious work, but the resulting headline had its own charm and we had a permanent race going on who was best and fastest. I won most of the time! French Typewriter is a slab serif typeface created in 2019 by Jean-Renaud Cuaz. It takes roots in the typewriting font styles with a French flair. In the history of this font style, early typewriters were initially thought to be replacements for printing and so featured proportional fonts, before being replaced by monospaced typefaces. French Typewriter was created with proportional design, departing from the constraint of identical width and space. Designed for vintage and modern use with a script influenced italic, French Typewriter provides a large range of weights from Extra Light to Black with matching italics offering a large palette of styles for both vintage and modern design. A series of swash capitales has been created for all 6 italic weights along with ligatures and alternative a, g, y signs to provide opportunities for attractive text design. Fine tuned kerning has been implemented to make this slab serif font family greatly legible in small size. Condensed styles will be available in 2019.

Let me introduce my first ever product on my shop. Cinnamon Peach - Layered Font After 2 years of learning how to create a fonts, learn about the anatomy of typography, features of the OpenType fonts, and all of the experience on my collaborations with many friends, Finally I just launched my first personal product with the name Cinnamon Peach. Cinnamon Peach is beauty combinations of layered font. It has a Serif and Script style inside. Both of them are layered font, which is you can express the style on both of it. You can add shadow, inline or hatch on Serif style. Changing the color of the other layer as just easy as change standard color of the fonts but it’s more deep in detail. On the Script style, I give you more freedom of choosing which style do you want, if you want a deep style of layer, you can choose regular and inside with different color. but if you want the outline style, it also available as a single fonts. Looks like on the display that I Created, You can see the most of combinations font in there are perfectly matched even on script version doesn’t include the Uppercase character. Because of the strong characteristic of this fonts you can see the combinations are great with or without layer, monochrome or multi color, pastel or watercolour. Plumage is somewhat unusual in that it has elements of calligraphy as well as script in a semi-loose form that gives it a pleasing appearance for both large and small sizes, and interesting flare finish strokes add to its unique character. As I read a dictionary description of "plumage", I realized that in many ways there is a parallel between a bird's plumage and how it is utilized in the context of writing: Plumage varies in pattern and arrangement for different purposes; what it expresses can of course be even more interesting. Plumage is disposable after a season, as new ones become available... imagine, a self-sustaining quill! - I guess that's equivalent to a refill or disposable pen. Historically, quill pens were made from feathers of a variety of birds, each chosen for its special characteristics. The sturdiest and most reliable feathers, however, come from turkeys, swans and geese. Feathers used to make pens are the stiff-spined flight feathers on the leading edge of the bird's wing. Pens for right-handed writers come from the left wing, and pens for left-handers, from the right! Each bird yields 10-12 good quills, and sometimes only 2 or 3 - so small a yield that the geese reared in England could not furnish nearly enough for local demand, and quills were imported from the Continent in large quantities. At one point St Petersburg in Russia was sending 27 million quills a year to the UK. It is said that geese were specially bred by US President Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826) to supply his own vast need for quills - in his lifetime he wrote almost 20,000 letters. The name "Plumage" was selected to pay homage to the noble birds that supplied countless quills for centuries of literary works. Plumage is recommended for any formal or informal invitation, decorations, awards, poetry, plaques, etc. We hope you will have the pleasure of using Plumage.
