Payload began as an early concept for Loaded magazine, and here is developed into a clean outline and rough splattery spraycan version. Shablon is a Stencil style serif typeface. The family consists of 6 fonts: Shablon Regular, Shablon Italic, Shablon Condensed Regular, Shablon Condensed Italic, Shablon Extended Regular, Shablon Extended Italic. Every font includes uppercase and lowercase letters. Tactical is nothing more than a testosterone-laced typeface. Rigid, mechanical and unforgiving. Originally conceived in 2007 while I was working through the early sketches of Ginza, Tactical features hard 45-degree angles and the presence of a curve for curve’s sake is just not there. Complimenting the original is a Stencil variant (inspired by the military, marathon video game, explosion-influenced name) and matching Obliques—altogether creating a sharply coordinating family.

SPECX Stencil This is my #11/12 Font a slabserif typeface. In fact it’s a very, very basic and extreme strong typeface! We gave this new Font a special touch by adding an extra family-member: a stencil-version of the SPECX. My inspiration for the SPECX is based on the cover of a 1955 French School-Notebook. Céline was inspired by a recent trip to a vineyard in the South of France. A vintage stencil numeral set was etched onto the wine fermentation tanks. Céline is a one weight stencil display typeface with plans to expand the family with multiple weights and non stencil versions. UXB Stencil and its companion UXB Spray contain both the stencil and the sprayed letters in two fonts. The font is a headline display uppercase only character set, which is duplicated in the lowercase keys, identical in form (except for an alternate “Z”). No need to remember to hit the caps lock, the font will work with lowercase key strokes. UXB Spray is also a headline display uppercase only character set but, includes a few “drip” characters (find them in the lowercase key positions) these apply when you have held the spraycan over the stencil too long and made a mess. Use separately or together for a maximum design explosion. The fonts used together with color can create many nice design effects- by offsetting characters and putting one font in front of the other for a second effect. UXB it’s an emergency.

This is a well-built, functional (all caps) typeface, which is very modern in character. The use of diagonal corners in this angular typeface is inspired by the pennant numbers on British Royal Navy warships, which adds an military quality to this typeface. The gaps, which form the Stencil divisions, follow pre-established horizontal and vertical lines, they help to achieve both geometric and proportional harmony. The direction of the gaps is always at a right angle to the stroke.

Terrorista is a homage to everyone who fought against the Millitary Regime in Brazil from 1964 to 1985. The Terrorista Marighella features generous inktraps, fits perfect for small sizes.
