La tipografía Nahualli, esta basada en los escritos castellanos del Códice Méndoza del siglo XVI. Aunque no es un estilo claro, la caligrafía aporta un estilo perfecto para documentos historicos. The Nahualli typography is based on the Castilian writings of the Méndoza Codex of the 16th century. Although it is not a clear style, calligraphy provides a perfect style for historical documents.

La famille Millenium est composée de modèles dont le poids varie progressivement. Elle est très étendue. Elle va de "Super Thin" à "Extra Black". Unique au monde, sa finesse permet de concevoir un style très léger même pour l'impression d'affiches et d'autres grands formats. The 1930 Geneva Motor Show (Salon International De l'Automobile Et Du Cycle) showcased a lot of new cars, but one item in particular took my interest: the amazing art deco poster announcing the show. Lokomotiv font was based on this poster. It is a very deco-ish font, futuristic, angular, with bold squares, rounds and triangles. As I had to work with just a handful of glyphs, and needed to fill an entire font, I made up the missing ones myself. Lokomotiv, by the way, is German for Locomotive.

This family was inspired by the edition De Civitate Dei (by Sanctus Augustinus) printed in 1467 in Sobiano (Italy, Roma) by Konrad Sweynheym and Arnold Pannartz who was the Punchcutter. It is one of the first few “Roman style” fonts, just before the birth of Jenson’s pattern (look at 1470 Jenson Latin). The present font contains all of the specific latin abbreviations and ligatures used in the original (about 54). Added are the accented characters and a few others not in use in this early period of printing. Decorated letters such as 1512 Initials, 1550 Arabesques, 1565 Venetian, or 1584 Rinceau can be used with this family without anachronism. If Italic style is required (not yet existing in early time of printing), we recommend using 1557 Italique.

Looking similar to a Deco-era classic typeface, Van Alt JNL has slightly different character shapes, but pays due respect to its inspiration by the original...

Ainsi que le considérait Geoffroy Tory, typographe et philosophe de la Renaissance, chaque lettre de l'alphabet peut être dessinée à partir d'un cercle et d'un trait. La fonte "cyclo" actualise et radicalise ce principe graphique visionnaire. Le pack contient une version "regular" assez sage et une version "alternate" plus fantaisiste dans les accents et des signes de ponctuation. La fonte cyclo est dont adaptée à tous les usages (titres, sous-titres, chapitres et blocs de text), et peut servir efficacement l'identité visuelle de votre projet.
