Here's a simple little retro font that got its inspiration from a food vending truck pictured in a local newspaper's online article. Fun and retro, Food Vendor JNL evokes simpler times. The font is a basic character set, with a blank diamond on the equal sign keystroke for spacing or embellishment.

Sheet music for a selection from the 1928 musical “New Moon” had the show’s title hand lettered in a bold sans serif that reflected the upcoming Art Deco movement, along with a contoured outline around the letters. This served as the model for Poster Contoured JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

No mystery here: this typeface is based on Edward Johnston’s 1916 design for the London Underground and, more specifically, as it was employed in posters boosting The Tube. Based on a old standard, Tudor Black, this version offers a dramatic inline treatment that adds sparkle and grace. The typeface takes its name from Ford Motor Company's old designation for a sedan. Condell Bio Poster is part of the bigger Condell family: a project that involves series of typographies that started to be conceived and developed since 2006. It also includes a bigger legibility version and a sans serif. Condell Bio is very versatile and can be used in the agroindustrial production. Thanks to its strongness and its charm, it can be used in different projects where a short and powerful message is required. For instance in a brand marketing campaign. The Condell project follows in terms of time the design of Comalle (a font also designed by Juan Pablo de Gregorio in 2006), but if we compare them, Condell seems to look for a major range of uses rather than a mere stylistic inspiration. And even if it keeps in its shape some organic forms, Condell seems to be much more similar to a sans serif traditional typography. Condell's fat and soft forms and its nice endings, inspired through spontaneous brush strokes, give it a very peculiar pleasant connotation. Its Italic (10 degrees inclination) have been produced singularly, not automatically calculated by the software. Condell Bio Poster is composed of 2 styles: the regular and the italic. French Wine JNL is an Art Deco thick-and-thin type design based on the hand lettering from a vintage poster for Monarch Cabernet Sauvignon wine. The typeface is available in both regular and oblique versions.

This thick and thin mixed handwriting is perfectly legible and neat but still full of fun!

Tide Sans Condensed is fresh, carefree, and just as good looking as its extended brother, Tide Sans. The Tide Sans family includes beautiful italics and an overall affable look lost somewhere between a humanist and a neo grotesque. Wire Mesh JNL is an outline variation of the same design that produced Shady Characters JNL (lettering printed over a simulated halftone). This time around, the end effect gives the impression of looking at lettering cut out of a mesh screen.

Wine Cellar JNL is a bold, yet casual display face found on some 1930s-era sheet music entitled "Everybody Wants a Key to My Cellar". Since the subject of the song had a number of good times underneath the house, it's a fitting name for the font. The hand lettering for the original song sheet showed strong influence of the 1920s and the Art Nouveau style, and has hints of the popular metal type "Hobo" in its character shapes.

The unusually-shaped hand lettering of Penny Wise JNL was modeled from the cover of the 1936 sheet music for "You Dropped Me Like a Red Hot Penny", and is available in both regular and oblique versions. Although it was drawn during the Art Deco period, this type of lettering design style was revived during the Hippie movement of the 1960s and 1970s.
