The American Sign Museum in Cincinnati houses an amazing collection of vintage signage from all kinds of sources and covering many eras of retail advertising. Hancock Bold Condensed is slab serif typeface. The original Hancock design was produced by the Keystone Type Foundry, circa 1903; a condensed version was added circa 1917 by Lanston Monotype. Steve Jackaman (ITF) designed and produced a digital version of Hancock in 1994, and completely redrew the typeface for its 2017 release. The new version has a 40% larger glyph set, and supports Latin 1 plus Central/Eastern European languages.

Kenwyn is a bold, geometric, Egyptian style slab-serif display font. It comes in two variations — Single Dot and Double Dot — each with an accompanying Stencil variation. The Vitruvian Man is a world-renowned drawing created by Leonardo da Vinci circa 1487. The drawing depicts a male figure in two superimposed positions with his arms and legs apart and simultaneously inscribed in a circle and square. The drawing and text are sometimes called the Canon of Proportions or, less often, Proportions of Man.The drawing is based on the correlations of ideal human proportions with geometry described by the ancient Roman architect Vitruvius in Book III of his treatise De Architectura. Vitruvius described the human figure as being the principal source of proportion among the Classical orders of architecture. That's how "Leonardian" was buid as well: a quest for ideal proportions, a harmonious design springing up from a geometric "collision", circle and square's intersections.

A vintage set of die-cut letters and number by Village Toys (circa 1930s or 1940s) featured a playful, bold serif typeface. This is now available digitally as Toy Letters JNL, in both regular and oblique versions.

No telling how old this font is, because it came from Hamilton, a firm that was late in the wood type business, but was the repository of many older patterns from earlier wood type makers. Great circus look to it. Some missing characters drawn at Solotype.

A vintage look to the future of type, this funky typestyle with circular cut outs was stylish for its day, and a true novelty for today. Blackhole PB began as a digitization of a film typeface known as Circue Solid by LetterGraphics. This typestyle has such funkadelic appeal to it that it just makes me smile. Definitely not for broad uses, but full of novel flair. This font is the bees knees for anyone with a circle fetish. They are like hidden mickeys in this typestyle, building up curves and counters all over the place. Take it for a spin and have a flashback to wilder times.

Bertram Plain is the perfect font for setting titles in comic strips and similar designs. UK designer Martin Wait created this font 1991, after he was inspired by the casual style of circus graphics. In fact, this jolly and lighthearted font was even named after one circus in particular: the Bertram Mills Circus. Bertram Plain is an all-caps font, with capital letters placed on both the upper and lowercase keyboard strokes. Additionally, Bertram Plain letters sport a 3D-like drop shadow, a distinctive feature when comparing this to many other display fonts.
