A rough hand drawn playful serif that would be good at larger than normal text use, or headlines.

We have created this family from the numerous derivatives in use for newspapers since the middle of the 1800s to the 1970s, inspired by the well known Clarendon. Mainly, the patterns are those used to print Le Petit Journal, a popular French Newspaper of the era (published from 1863 to 1937). The present version contains Normal, Italic, Bold and Bold Italic styles, in two sub families: 1906 French News for texts and titlings with upper and lower case, and 1906 French News Caps (Caps, small caps, small numerals, for texts and titlings).

Wood Poster Display JNL is a more casual sans wood type, with a bold and friendly appeal. This font offers a pleasant design which lends itself perfectly to titling, price cards, event notices and any print or web design that prefers a less formal structure to its typography.

Stapel is a contemporary closed sans serif with sci-fi looking forms and eloquent, thin stroke joints. The superfamily consists of three subfamilies of different width: Normal, Narrow and Condensed. Cleveden was inspired by some lettering sighted on a neglected and somewhat tarnished brass plaque, affixed to an elderly office building. The elegance and character (somehow playful and formal at the same time) of the letterforms shone through the tarnished state of the plaque. As an aside the brass plaque in question was on the former business premises of a long established firm of accountants. We suspect the ethics of that profession would preclude us identifying which one. Our efforts to identify their engraver have proven unavailing. Cleveden is a family of four typefaces, Regular, Bold, Capitals and Capitals Bold. They are ideal for designs that call for distinctive formality and especially lend themselves to signage, certificates, and -dare it be said- engraved plaques!
