I must admit that I am not a big fan of the Art Nouveau style. However, I found this particularly beautiful alphabet and decided to use it as the basis for this new font. Very graceful, elegant, and dare I say, organic. Includes some intertwined ligatures. Complete uppercase, numerals, basic punctuation. Supports most Western European languages.

The hand-lettered movie titles from one of the William Powell-Myrna Loy "Thin Man" series of films was the basis for Intrigue JNL. Although the lettering style is decidedly from the Art Deco era, it also bears a strong resemblance to the 1980s techno movement; this font being adaptable to any era or design theme.

A 1940s-era book from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers entitled "Topographic Drafting" features a page for "lettering construction and spacing" in the process of map making. The letters and numbers were formed on grids using that mechanical drafting process for uniformity in stroke width. This was the basis for Topographic Sans JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Shaking hands is quite a complicated process: do it too lightly and you appear weak, grab too hard and you’re too eager. There are also those with a ‘Guerrilla Handshake’ - grabbing your hand unexpectedly, shaking it vigorously and yanking it toward them. Guerrilla Handshake font was actually made by hand, using Chinese ink and a brush. I did use the brush vigorously, but I made sure not to shake or yank it too much! Guerrilla Handshake comes in a slightly backslanted ‘regular’ version and an italic version.

Annonce is a digitization and expansion of a 1912 Johannes Wagner Foundry classic called Aurora Grotesk, which also circulated later on in metal under the name Annonce. Bold, extended and clear as a bell, Annonce stood out as the definite big sign font long before the Helveticas of the world. With angled cuts on some of the letters, it also shows humanistic traits that make it more appealing than any other face in its genre. The Annonce set comes in two fonts, a regular and an italic, and includes a very large character set that accommodates almost all Latin-based languages, including Turkish, Baltic, Celtic, Maltese, Esperanto, and the languages of Central and Eastern Europe.

The Adamant family is a serif typeface that comes in six weights, from Light to ExtraBold, each with italic and small caps versions. These are the letters I doodled in the margins of my high school notebooks. As it turns out, a man named Milt Glaser doodled them first. He doodled a lot of other amazing things too. Mr. Glaser called his blocky alphabet Baby Teeth. I think the type looks better when it says Surfside, so that's what I called my incarnation. This version has been digitized and expanded, and is available for Mac and PC. These letters remind me of the 80s and the 90s, of Gotcha shorts, Ocean Pacific shirts and fluorescent windbreakers. Dream Within a Dream was the title of exhibition of Czech art inspired by the work of Edgar Allan Poe curated by Otto M Urban and Veronika Hulíková. Three dozens of artists exhibited their works in the Czech National Gallery in 2020. The cataloguje was printed with the use of the present typeface. Artists took significant interest in Poe's literary oeuvre only after the writer's untimely death. This was mainly thanks to the poet Charles Baudelaire who translated Poe's works to French. As early as in the second half of the 19th century, prominent artists such as Edouard Manet, Odilon Redon, James Ensor and Gustave Doré created remarkable artworks inspired by Poe. Although the first Czech translations of Poe's woks date to the 1850s, artworks inspired by them only appeared several decades later, at the turn on the 20th century. Poe's poems and short stories inspired František Kupka and soon after him, Josef Váchal, Jan Konůpek and František Kobliha. Alfred Kubin, a German artist born in Bohemia, made illustrations for the German translation of Poe's collected stories. Later on, Alén Diviš and František Tichý created further Poe-inspired artworks. Poe was a source of inspiration for Jan Švankmajer and more recently, František Štorm and Jaroslav Róna.

The hand lettered title on the sheet music for "Gee, But I'd Like to Make You Happy" (from the 1930 MGM motion picture "Good News") presented a conundrum. Some of the lettering was a classic Art Deco "thick and thin" design while the others resembled comic book title lettering. Leaning toward the comic book style, the conflicting letters were revised and the finished result became Funny Business JNL; available in both regular and oblique versions.

Blanket is a friendly, baby-soft typeface with a gentle slant. With the warmth of an italic but less of the speed, it is designed primarily for use on child oriented material. The ‘schoolbook’ a and g are default, but the more adult double storey versions are available through stylistic sets / stylistic alternates. Blanket is child friendly without being childish. Typographically sophisticated, it features a wealth of figure styles, automatic fractions, ligatures, alternates, case sensitive forms and a small spattering of swashes. Although the intent was to make a typeface fit for children’s books, the finished product works well anywhere a casual (but not sloppy) look is desired.

Based on a written pen-form of 'runes' (translation of Elvish Certar and Cirth), it was used by Dwarves to write their own secret tongue. NOTE: this font comes with an interpretation guide in pdf format.
