Old English is a digital font that was produced by Monotype's design staff, circa 1990. But its roots go much further back: the face's design is based on that of Caslon Black, a Blackletter type cast by the venerable William Caslon foundry in England, circa 1760. Preta, portuguese for a very pure kind of black, has its name very related to its concept: I wanted to make the fattest/darkest script ever. People who follow my work may notice its forms are very related to works of my past (1) but this time the challenge was to be very cautious with the white spaces between letters. Not only I followed some rules and ductus of the copperplate style of calligraphy but also I took a lot of inspiration in posters of the early Art Nouveau (specially in Alfred Roller of the Vienna Secession) where letters forms looked like black squares if not looked from a close distance. With Preta, I wanted to achieve that same idea of “darkness” and thanks to the always welcomed question -what if?- the font grew a lot. The result is a very fat font, that looks delicious. Due to possible customer needs, I designed Preta Small, so it can be used in smaller sizes. Preta Ao Sol (which literally means under the sun!) is a style with those lovely tiny details to give the sensation of bright. Preta Ao Sol Solo was made to be used as a layered font with Preta. Finally, Preta Capitals serves as a company for Preta. Hope you enjoy the font as much as I did when designing it: The fact that it’s full of alternates, swashes, ligatures and swirls makes it really pleasurable at the moment of using it. Mono-Spec Stencil is a monospaced family of sans-serif type. At least in default settings, all characters across the typeface share a common width, which is immediately noticeable for its condensed nature. Cotton Club remembers the fonts of the thirties of the last century and the Bodoni, but it does not present graces: it is a sans serif. Runway is the font that will satisfy the need for speed in your design. Simple lines and curves, a commanding slant, and big sturdy shapes made to cruise at any speed or altitude, through summer breeze or horrible snowstorms. Runway was designed to be tight like an engine chain, powerful like the hum of the engine itself, and simply the best choice when it comes to strength and velocity in design. Initially Runway was meant to be a single font. But during the spacing and kerning stages, Patrick noticed that most of the letters, especially the vowels and the s, can clasp stylishly with the L or the T to make some really funky combinations. That's how the Alternates font was born. After building a few alternates and about 40 "clasped" combinations around the L and the T, the decision was made to take Runway to the next level: OpenType. The OpenType version of Runway is a single font that contains some serious font magic. Some of the many features the font includes: Over 430 characters for that great character map utility you have, automatic to-and-fro small-capping, discretionary ligatures that call up some pretty funky combinations automatically as you type, and a lot of stylistic and contextual alternates for many characters, ligatures and composites. Lythmore This font is called Lythmore and is inspired by Lithos. Lithos was originally designed for Adobe by Carol Twombly in 1990, based it on the lettering from ancient Greek inscriptions. The Capitals are similar in feel and design, but is totally original and built from scratch. It is designed to be similar intentionally, but it is not a clone or rip off. Lithos is an example of a simple blocky san serif font style, with subtly concave sides, angled ends, and off centred curves. Lythmore is also an example of that same style. But is also different in places where I felt it could be improved. And it has a complete lower case set, which Lithos doesn't. I built Lythmore with 8 different weights. Lythmore can be very effective when used in advertising and general display work, but it can also be used for much more. Although it was never designed to be body copy, when used as such, it is still perfectly readable and adds its own version of sans serif style and flavour. I have included two versions of the Lythmore family. Lythmore A and Lythmore B. In the Lythmore A family, the lighter 4 weights all vary in weight in both the horizontal and vertical axis. The heavier 4 weights all vary in the horizontal axis only. In the Lythmore B family, the transition is even in both directions across the entire family. The result of this difference is that the A and B versions difference is most noticeable between the Regular and Medium weights. While the extreme ends of each family version are virtually identical.

Inspired by various shapes such as leaves, flowers, hearts etc., Apresia Script is harmonically crafted. My first intention is only for standard design, but, later added simpler characters for normal(standard) typings. Apresia Script is rich with capital letter variants and ornaments. There are also lowercase variants in lesser numbers. I assume that many or perhaps most people want to have their name or the other of their important designs to be written with some letters that are in various shapes harmoniously. Apresia Script with more then 4000 glyphs support this aim, also support many latin based languages. However, because of many variations, except the standard characters, the full marked capitals are only set in two variants; in ss01 and ss02, which is also some marked lowercases included here. Swash variants (swsh) consist only one variant of every uppercase and lowercase characters, but no marked characters. All the others capital and lowercase variants are put in stlystic alternatives (salt). There are tens of unmarked caps and fewer for unmarked lowercase in salt (see Apresia Script opentype features(1) poster for some). The ornaments can be accessed via opentype ornaments(ornm), using less() characters for easier access. There are also beginning small letter(lowercase) ornaments, end word(lowercase) ornaments and insertion ornaments to make your typing/design more flourish, using ornm via “[“ (bracketleft), “]” (bracketright) and “\” (backslash), respectively. For marks; marks via combining marks and mkmk was set for many characters variants, however, it seem most applications not yet support this features. Alternatively, you can add non standard unicode combining marks via ornaments for the language supported: asterisk “*” list for uppercase marks above letters; ASCIIcircum “^” list for lowercase marks above letters; underscore “_” for uppercase and lowercase marks below the letters; numbersign “#” for slashing characters, horn, caron alternate and reversed comma for g, (see Apresia Script opentype features(2) poster and save it if you download the font). Thus, it is recommended to have the application which are support these opentype features such as: Adobe in Design, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW or others for easier accessing the glyphs. Still, for non supported applications, you can insert these glyphs via Character maps, insert symbols or other similar tools. Apresia Script will go for most typing/design such as invitation, wedding card, greeting card, banners, logos and many others. Use it for whatever you intended to, Apresia script will give an amazing end design, though you are not a designer. As intended to be able to be used by many, this font is set in an affordable price. Regarding to export PNGs images in Software’s for layered Typesetting as Adobe Illustrator a final procedure may be required, once the designs are done and can be backup it, expanding and applying merge filter, will remove a few possible line glitches and be perfected. Technical Specifications: With 8 styles and 4 subfamilies with 2 complementary weights each (Regular and Bold) therefore, Original Contour, Filled, Decor, with reticle’s decorations and 2 Map fonts with key captions. *All fonts match perfectly when central pasted for layered typesetting. All fonts have 106 glyphs, in which 96 are different keys with 2 versions of each of both caps and shift keys, plus a few repeated for facilitating. It was settled this way in order for exchanging with its Prismatic relative fonts which has only 48 different keys repeated twice. Concerning tiles manufacturing and Printed Products as stickers or Stencils, any of its repeated pieces was measured and just rotated in different directions in each key, so when sided by other pieces in any direction will fit perfectly without mispatching errors.
