Sometimes you need things organised in a neat way. Organic Tuesday has that, but also a will to break free at the same time. Years ago I was at a restaurant where the menu was handwritten with a clumsy, but characteristic and charming, monospaced font. I must have focused so much on these letters that I can’t recall what I actually ate. But what I do remember is that it was a Tuesday, and the restaurant was organic!

TA Bankslab Shadow I created the font in 10 styles. 7 weight from Thin to Extra Black, an Outline, Shadow, and Art Nouveau. The Art Nouveau style was inspired by the texture in the background used for the text on the building. The texture I applied to capital letters adds beauty to the font. The hand lettered cast and production credits for the 1942 music comedy “Holiday Inn” (starring Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire) inspired Vacation Resort JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Almoneda: Sale at public auction of movable goods, generally used. And also: private and voluntary sale of jewelry and junk that is made without the intervention of justice. Formerly, it was nothing more than the market or sale of things and spoils won from the enemy in war. Nowadays, the almoneda is practically associated with spaces where the sale of "old things" takes place and, in Madrid, they are usually concentrated in the area of El Rastro, an open-air market that is set up on Sundays and some holidays in the center of Madrid. There, you can find everything and, if you walk around a lot and look hard enough, great typographic finds. It is there where I find a large number of elements (usually from the late nineteenth and early twentieth century) such as boxes, posters, books, etc.. in which appear uppercase letters with a variety of shapes, letters embedded, rare ligatures ... In addition, many elements extracted from street signs, tiles from bars and commemorative elements of Madrid have been used to complete this font design made with care and patience. Thus was born Almoneda, a modern typeface with a marked axis and great contrast, and an uppercase with several sets of characters to play with and enjoy. It also includes a large number of ligatures and discretionary ligatures. A Variable font is included with the full package license. Almoneda, a typeface that will not leave you indifferent. They take it out of my hands, hey!

In Adrian Frutiger, the discipline of a mathematically exact mind is joined with an unmistakable artistic sense. His independent work possesses the controllable language of letterforms. Personal and intensive, this work is the manifestation of his expressive will. Frutiger's precise sense of outline reveals itself two- or three-dimensionally in wood, stone, or bronze, on printing plates and in the form of reliefs. Following function, form also necessarily follows the content of the language. The entire spiritual world becomes readable through letters. Essentially, Adrian Frutiger attempts to fathom the basic, central truth which defines our lives: change, growth, division - beginning and end. In a virtual synthesis, he seems to close the circle in which the world reflects itself in symbolic forms. Frutiger Stones is for Adrian Frutiger the example of his formal artistic sensibility par excellence. Searching for the fundamental elements in nature, he has discovered the pebble, rounded and polished over innumerable years by gently flowing water. And out of this, he has created his complete system, a ruralistic typeface of letters and symbols. It depicts animals and plants, as well as astrological and mythical signs. Because of its unique aura, Frutiger Stones is particularly well-suited to different purposes - in headlines and prominent pictograms, as symbol faces, illustrations, and more.

Based on the popular Microbrew Family (Rising Star, May 2014), Signyard is a display family trapped in time. Inspired by vintage restaurant and hotel signs, Signyard comes decked out in incandescent bulbs for a an authentic retro feel. The family has a unique vintage cinema style, but also works well with a variety of subject matter including weddings, birthdays, breweries, coffee houses, cigar shops, and many more. Signyard is an all caps display font, but the lowercase act as alternates. For super-easy alternates, just mix uppercase and lowercase letters. To add to the realism, Signyard includes double-letter ligatures. Sporting a healthy compliment of features and languages, Signyard is a very versatile display family. Homework Dashed font was specially conceived/designed for teaching cursive writing. This resource allows tutors and parents to create worksheets for individual or class teaching. Associated with the Homework font, students can learn and exercise their handwriting abilities. All capital letters, excluding I, F, T and P, link to any following small letter: the sequence of the previous letter stroke always follows the angle of the initial stroke of the subsequent letter. This, in the real world, means that words built with the font can be handwritten without having to lift the pen from the paper (except to cross t and f and dot i and j) or interrupt the writing flow. All the letters are base aligned and all small letters have the same ‘x’ height. Homework Dashed font is a tool with which teachers and tutors can create repetitive alphabetical writing exercises that can be printed on lined sheets.

The geometrical drawing of Fenomen Slab follows the guidelines set by our other font family Fenomen Sans. It is a perfect companion of Fenomen Sans, as well as being a standalone font family capable of delivering its own expression and aesthetics. The set contains four width proportions – Normal, SemiCondensed, Condensed and ExtraCondensed in eight weights ranging from Hairline to Black. Every font of the family contains four types of numerals, small caps, ligatures and contextual alternates. The typeface was developed between the years 2014–2017 and was subjected to a series of tests for the fluent legibility of all fonts even in extreme conditions. Narrow fonts provide this set with the maximum use including newspaper typesetting. The typeface has an elegant, delicate design in thin fonts and sufficient legibility in bold. P22 Graciosa is a five font family based upon designs for a metal type by Carlos Winkow (1882–1952), a German type designer who lived and worked in Spain in the early 20th Century. Graciosa is a sort of hybrid blackletter/text font, with simplified blackletter caps and a serifed lowercase with subtle script flare. There is a Regular, Black, an open version called White, and an engraved version called Gris. The version called Multi serves as a fill font to allow for multi-colored layering options. A revival of these designs was initiated by Matthias Beck in 2015. The character set was expanded for use in 21 languages (OpenType Standard). The digitization and reintroduction of these old fonts—created in Spain and practically forgotten—makes them regain a new life. This project was subsidized by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.
