A Roman typeface with emphasized triangular serifs. A font like this one could have been designed in 18th century France. To some extent, Auxerre is a precursor of “Etienne,” which later became popular as an advertising typeface of the 19th century. Auxerre is available in five font weights: light, regular, semibold, bold and black. Auxerre supports Western and Central European languages including Scandinavian languages. Plus, the font includes lots of ligatures, tabular figures as well as a “Capital German Double S.” Auxerre fits perfectly with any topic related to the past two centuries. Rekord Antiqua, regular and semibold, released 1911 by Wagner & Schmidt, is a perfect body text partner for Art Nouveau display fonts. Both styles come with a long s, which can be reached by the OT feature of historical forms or by typing [alt] + b. In addition, you find two framing elements on [alt] + P and [alt] + p, and an oblique style was added too.

Twentieth Century Poster, designed by Sol Hess for Lanston Monotype in the 1940s, provided the inspiration for this family of faces. Although, historically, the design falls outside the time period normally considered the Art Deco era, its sensibilities are pure Art Moderne. Both versions of this font contain the Unicode 1252 (Latin) and Unicode 1250 (Central European) character sets, with localization for Romanian and Moldovan.

Gotica Lumina is a an attempt to make blackletter more legible to the 21st century's eye. It is available in two styles: soft (for text) and sharp (for display). Both of them have an alternate font, which contains stylistic alternate forms for several characters, for a more “traditional” look. Opentype features: four styles of figures and currencies, ligatures (f-ligatures and c-ligatures), historical forms (long-s).

Milanette is a set of 74 original vignettes designed by calligrapher Lyudmila Mikhailova. These light, graceful, dynamic flourishes -- tiny graphic compositions -- present visual replicas of her emotions and realize her innate love for intrinsic beauty of the world. The font can be used in book compositions, especially for poetry and historical fiction, in magazines, in package design of jewelry, perfume, cosmetics. Released by ParaType in 2011.

Aspidistra is a modern vintage typeface; which is to say a Studio K original with a period feel: it has a strong Art Nouveau influence (a distant cousin of Arnold Bocklin). Why Aspidistra? In the first half of the last century an Aspidistra was a must have accessory of the aspiring middle classes (see George Orwell's Keep the Aspidistra Flying), and to my mind this font evokes the chintzy charm of that era.

Friedrichsfeld is a small town near there where I live. Friedrichsfeld, Voerde and Wesel was Part of the Preussen Kingdom till 1912. Friedrichsfeld was a Parade ground of the preussen troops and get the name of the King Friedrich II (the old Fritz). Today there is a Preussen Museum near Friedrichsfeld in Wesel. The Font comes in two ground Version, one in the history Letters and old Ligatures and a modern Version.

A condensed font using constructivism history to convey the cold hearted steel of machinery and progress. Gridlock tries it's best to fit as much info as possible in a small space neatly in line and with the subtle curves and smoothness of bent steel. The inspiration for Gridlock actually came accidentally after designing some lettering for a self-promo project and it needed something that just was condensed with visual appear. So imagining about how condensed fonts feel, I imagined them being squished together just like cars in traffic are forced to work together to make it to their end destination.

It came from a distant solar system, beyond any space we know. With superior knowledge and the ability to totally destroy the world as we know it...unless we act now...and find the strength to...arghhh... Naaah, I am just pulling your leg. The Serious Damage font could be used for something dramatic as the font for a movie poster, featuring the next "earth will be destroyed by aliens" movie. But it is suitable for more than that! With its straight lines and chunky letters, dramatic or not, Serious Damage could be a good choice!
