Basically my inspiration to create this font was located in the designs of old-school tattoo associated with wildlife Rockabilly and 70’s and 80’s. This font is perfectly applicable to typesetting for headlines, posters and art designs.

Dexterous is my interpretation of an antique typeface. The font includes upper and lowercase alphabets with alternate "E F L M S T" characters and alternate "c e m s" characters, numbers, punctuation, accented characters, symbols, and miscellaneous characters.

This font, based on old Olympia SM and SF typewriters from the 50’s and 60’s provides a nice clean, yet quirky look for your documents. Being a reproduction inspired by a typewriter, it works better at smaller sizes.

A poster circa 1930s-40s designed for the WPA Federal Art Project promoted free band concerts at the Brooklyn Museum in Brooklyn, New York. Its headline (“Free Band Concerts”) was hand lettered in a dual line Art Deco sans serif design. Now recreated digitally, the font takes its name after the poster’s topic. Band Concert JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

In the years 1937 and 1938 Paul Renner drew these both styles of the Ballade font family. Now freshly redesigned and extented for contemporary use, both styles have reappeared. These fonts contain the historical long s, which can be reached by typing the integral sign [ ∫ ] or by turning the round s into the long s via using the OT feature historical forms. Winston was inspired by strolls through downtown Winston-Salem, NC. Back in the 60's, 70's and 80's Winston-Salem was responsible for supplying tobacco and hosiery to people around the world. Now, smoke stacks and ghost signage fill the downtown area. Winston blends the modern city aesthetic with the vintage influences of classic advertising.
