Sava is a calligraphic capitals and small capitals design by Jovica Veljović. Available in six weights--light, regular, medium, semibold, bold and black--it includes support for most western and central European languages, as well as for Greek and many Cyrillic languages. Typographic features include a series of non-standard ligatures and a large collection of specialized Byzantine ornaments. Influenced by the forms of medieval calligraphy, Sava is named after St. Sava, the first Archbishop of Serbia, who was famous as a peacemaker, and for his educational and charitable works.

Reed is a refined calligraphic font based on humanist italic. It contains two weights and a high-contrast Display style for extra large point sizes. Two unusual stencil styles add zest to the type family. The character set includes lots of swashes and contextual alternates. This makes text set in Reed look very close to live calligraphy. Reed works perfectly in labels and packaging of confectionery, cosmetics, perfumery and sparkling wines, as well as greeting cards and event design. Reed was designed by Isabella Chaeva and released by Paratype in 2020.

Senlot Serif is a follow-up to the technical yet elegant sans serif Senlot . In this serif edition, the original’s calligraphic tension shines through, with a moderate amount of contrast. Bengala is a font based on Calligraphy & Geometry designed by Carlos Fabián Camargo. Its purpose is to be an innovative typographic system combining Script letters with geometric and hard Caps letters. The contradictory styles are ideal for designing covers, posters, branding and packaging. Its smooth calligraphic look meticulously incorporates characters to design logos and phrases that communicate dynamism and strategy. Bengala Script was inspired by Mistral by R. Excoffon. Bengala Script provides violent and unstable lines with generous spacing between the letters and tight horizontal proportions, producing showy upper and lower case italics inspired by French Gothic calligraphy late fifteenth century. For this reason, Bengala Script retains some uninterrupted calligraphic logic, up and down sometimes higher or shorter than the height of the lowercase, creating dynamism through a variable amount of contrast between thick and thin strokes. Bengala Dingbats has 62 drawings designed to accompany the designs. Script and Caps Bengala have different gender and the similar X height produces more visual appeal. This way Bengala Caps - inspired by the Porshe logo, due to its geometric uppercase Roman construction, extended horizontal proportions, light caliber, rounded strokes terminations and generous spacing between letters. This family was inspired by the Fournier's font named "Financière". It is a looking like manual font, carved in 1741 by Pierre Simon Fournier (le jeune) and published in his Manuel Typographique... in Paris (1764-1766). We offer 1741 Financière" as a rich complement to our 1786 GLC Fournier. The font is enriched by numerous ligatures and OTF specifications to make it attractive and offer a lot of various typographic possibilities in a text.

Ottocento is an elegant chancery cursive, derived from XIXth century Italian calligraphy. Slightly inclined and with a fast and marked ductus, this font is well balanced between thick and thin strokes and shows marked ascendings and descendings.
 Ottocento is rich in stylistic variations with its elaborated upper cases, and stylistically different in traits and different ligatures are considered to make the most of the many OpenType features.

Matchmaker, a modern calligraphy typeface, was inspired by the various works of modern day calligraphers. Its tall, quirky, and juxtaposed letterforms provide a deviation from traditional calligraphy-inspired typefaces. Matchmaker features smart contextual alternates and swashes that add to the front and beginnings of letters (using lowercase letters, enter === before the word then +++ after the word to see the feature in action). Also watch as letters on the end of words magically receive a shortened tail. This font works best in OpenType aware software so that you can take advantage of its many tricks and features. The Scriptorium got its start in the early days of personal computers with a few font designs for the Commodore 64, and the very first font which we did back then in the early 1980s was a gothic calligraphy font. That style of fonts - the medieval, gothic and black letter genre - has always been the backbone of our collection, but with recent releases we've stayed away from them to introduce a bit more variety. Well, with our new Zauberer font the antique, medieval and gothic look is back with a vengeance. Zauberer isn't a true medieval calligraphy style. It's based on early printed type from Germany which combines calligraphic elements with decorative embellishments from the woodcut printing era. The result is decorative and antique looking and rather appealing. The name comes from the German word for a magician or illusionist.

Excritura is the third typeface created by the Spanish designer Alex Camacho. Designed after the sixties neon sign of an arthouse cinema in downtown Zurich, Studio 5 is now a typeface for many applications.
