Strokes in Caslon fonts are somewhat heavier than in earlier Old Style fonts, serifs are thicker and a bit stubby. Italic letters have uneven slope. Cyrillic version was developed for ParaType in 2002 by Isay Slutsker and Manvel Shmavonyan.
