Altissimo is a display type family, derived from the Ample typeface, it has large x-height, optical mono linear and a bit squarish in nature. It has a smooth curve instead of sharp angles formed by the junction of two strokes, which is a prominent feature of its design. It is designed to be a little eye-catching yet legible. It has clear and distinguishable letterforms, which helps to elaborate and emphasise the message. It is graphically strong and commands viewer's attention. The overall appearance of this type is suitable in setting it as heading, title, headline, etc. The type family consists of seven weights viz. Thin, ExLight, Light, Regular, Medium, Bold and ExBold. Altissimo is designed by Aakash Soneri in a period between 2017 and 2018.

“Redzone” is a versatile display family developed as the workhorse typeface for the “Ultimate Football League”, a fictional football league passion project. With a strong focus on the sports branding industry, “Redzone” has a voice that is competitive and sophisticated, its letterforms featuring angled terminals and sharp serifs across 5 weights and widths. Its generous x-height and overall build makes it especially capable for headlines, thought it serves well for shortened body type as well. The “Redzone” name was debuted in October of 2017 as a titlecase font (later refined and renamed “Redzone Classic”), redesigned in November of 2018 with sheared and stenciled styles, and is now presented in the most streamlined version yet with the same charming fearlessness still present. Enjoy!

Cantebriggia 1207 is Greater Albion’s Christmas Black Letter typeface for 2017. It’s a weathered calligraphic ‘English’ perpendicular. There isn’t a specific significance to the year 1207 - it’s just a reversal of the current year, 2017. Why not try Cantebriggia 1207 in your seasonal design projects?

Inspired by the old Stephenson Blake Caps only font Algerian from 1908, this version, named Algerian Mesa, has been freshened up with a new matching lowercase. The original Algerian, on page 142 of the 1908 Stephenson Blake specimen book, was a small caps to a more decorative lining caps and the plain black version, without the shadow line, was named Gloria. Also on page 142 of the 1908 Stephenson Blake specimen book is a shaded Latin font that gave me the idea for the Alt version of Algerian Mesa. The Alt version works well at smaller point sizes combined with the regular Algerian Mesa font on the same page. New for 2016 were Opentype features including original alternates, oldstyle numerals and case sensitive forms, also new is a fully usable Alt version. New for 2022 are the higher x-height, 90% small caps, 80% small caps and all new italic versions. Also new for 2022 are straight sided accent marks replacing the flared or curved accents. While Algerian Mesa includes some alternates our related Tavern font will still remain the version with more alternates and more weights.

Miramar font has elegance in every detail, which means that it isn't very easy to use. I like it very much, but would use it myself on rare occurencies, for very special tasks and even then in small portions. The name refers to the castle of Miramar just north of Trieste on the Adriatic coast, once the weekend resort of the Austrian imperial family. Now it is a museum with a marvellous park. Miramar was released in 1993.
